The shoreTel IP230 phone does as advertised. It is easy to use and functions seamlessly. Staff that use this phone are completely satisfied.

Great deal
Bought for the office. They appear brand new. No problems during install on our Shoretel system. Saved the company quite a bit of money by not going through our local consultant.

ShoreTel 230 Junk
We purchased 200 ShoreTel 230 phones as part of our initial ShoreTel solution.A large percentage of the phones have failed over the last four years. Most of the failures occurring mid conversation. We've had to replace 79 of the initial 200 phones (40% failure rate).Every one of the defective phones can be traced to the same batch number. Our phone VAR has sent a number of the phones out for an independent inspection and we've been information the issue is related to a capacitor on the phones' network card.ShoreTel WILL NOT assist because the phones are "out of warranty". I repeat....40% failure rate...and all of the defective phones are from of the same batch number.I can no longer recommend ShoreTel as they are not standing by their product. At least in this case.
