Well made, practical and large capacity backpack.
Wish I bought one earlier! After looking for a replacement, settled on this one. So glad I did. Superbly made and very well laid out. Everything I used to carry (laptop, paperwork, test equipment) fits with room to spare. Comfortable to carry and smart looking. The hard case glasses compartment is just the icing on the very tasty cake.

Large and feels well made
Impressed with this so far. My other backpack was just a bit too small to fit a 17 inch laptop but this one is perfect for it.Overall the backpack seems well made. No loose threads hanging off anywhere and the zips feel smooth and are reassuringly chunky. There's plenty of compartments for stuff. In the rearmost compartment you can fit a large 17 inch laptop in easily and there's another pocket in that compartment that could easily take a similar sized tablet or other laptop should you need it! The next compartment on from that is large and is where you would put other large-ish items you wanted to carry. There's two more compartments on the front of the bag for yet smaller items like phone chargers, cables etc and these have pockets within them to keep things in place. Overall there's a ton of space and the bag just seems to endlessly expand as you put tings in it. It compacts down to a reasonable size when you're not carrying much. There's also other compartments especially for sunglasses and hidden anti- theft compartment that sits against your back when wearing the backpack to stash your wallet inside. There's also 2 side pockets with yet another mesh pocket stitched into them to hold bottles etc. So there really is a ton of space. All the zips can take a small padlock to lock them, and one basic one is supplied. There is even a USB port, so you can stash a battery in the bag and have a handy charging port available on the main carry handle should you need to charge something on the go.There's straps to help compress the bag when there's not much in it, a chest strap to help keep it in place and the main carry straps have a large range of adjustment. There's a reinforced carry handle on the top of the bag. Comfort wise it's good. The back panel is padded. I haven't done a huge trek with the bag rammed full of stuff so can't comment on that side of it. But as a large day to day pack it's comfortable to carry with moderate amounts of stuff inside.Only time will tell how this holds up to use over time but it certainly feels like it will last a long time and I've no cause for concern. For the price I feel this is a bit of a bargain.

Amazing Backpack, Long Lasting
i have had this backpack, 3 years now, yep its taken me this long to write a review.but it is long lasting (clearly) mine still has no tearing of seams, no rips, an i have not been gentle with it.the back is comfortable with padding, the shoudler straps dont dig in as they are also padded.the inside is spacious, the amount of storage it can hold is great, i love all the pockets and diffrent slots, i fail to even use them all honestly.you can toss this pack around without any worrys of damage, the poor thing can take some beating.be it carrying home your grocery shopping, accompanying you to many a metal concerts, holding your snacks and drinks, books from the library (or school) or even bringing stuff to the beach, or going hiking, this pack can do it all, trust me, i have tested it over the years.overall 10/10, would HIGHLY recommend ♥

This is a BIG backpack
I get a new backpack every year or two, or more frequently if I've made a bad purchase. The backpack comes with me on London tube at peak hour to work 4 or 5 days a week, including at "absolutely nothing but standing room only" times. My previous backpack, bought Feb 2018 was the very popular Matein which has a nice range of pockets but unfortunately busted a zip.Upon opening it becomes clear that this Kroser is WAY bigger than the Matein, despite they're official dimensions appraently only being 1/2 inch different. Look at the photos - the Kroser is described as 1/2 inch taller than the Matein, but it's clearly a way bigger. Or is the Matein smaller than advertised? Maybe it is - mine is nearly 2 years and despite being stuffed full of newspaper in that picture is not 18" tall.So the extra height, the extra width and the potential extra depth (if you fully stuffed the backpack full) and what the Kroser initially feels like is "I'm travelling with a friggin SUITCASE here"At first I thought I might send it back. I don't need that much space day-to-day. But after a few days I got over that feeling and it's not much extra if it isn't chock full of stuff - which it isn't day-to-day. And it's nice to have that extra space WHEN YOU NEED IT. I think the Kroser would be great for air travel.Quality-wise its fine. They're not super-rugged-chunky-plastic zips, so I'm sure one of them will eventually give way, unless the shoulder strap does - that's always the two weak points with backpacks isn't it.It has better padding on the base than the Matein so laptops are better protected, and it doesn't topple over when unsupported like the Matein does. The "hard shell" compartment at the top is a nice enough feature, if you have glasses. I don't.The built-in USB port, like the Matein has, is... it seems like a good idea, but really I've never used it. If I've got my charging battery inside and I want to charge my phone I'm happy to just put it inside, or run a cable out through the zip.The main DESIGN FLAW would be the zips not opening far enough down. The 2nd pocket zips only open downwards 1/3rd of the depth of the pocket, so now you're digging around in quite a deep pocket to find stuff instead of being able to open the zip all the way and have all the contents visible. This was also nearly a "send-it-back" moment for me, but I thought I'll give it a try. It has a truly ridiculous number of pockets which is a good thing.
