This is real leather! Honda calls the original armrest "leather" but it is actually synthetic leather, also referred to as vinyl :p I didn't give it 5 stars because the color is slightly different from the original. It is a true black and I guess darker because the original was faded and had absorbed oils etc. The color matches the console exactly though as well as the middle of the rear seat in my coupe. That said after I installed it, I don't really notice the difference and have been told it looks great and it smells like real leather now too. It will need some cuts to make it fit. Save the original piece to trace onto this and you will save yourself some headache. I got 1/4" staples and after a little TLC got it looking nice. Great product AAA!

I purchased this for a 2008 Honda Accord. This replacement is a much thicker leather. I found the installation to be very straight forward. The factory cover was held in place with lots of very small staples. I was unable to find staples small enough to use them again. I removed the old cover and super glued the new one in place. The super glue held very well and it looks much better. The leather was the perfect size. I had to cut a couple places to allow the corners to lay correctly. I feel like this cover will last for years. I am very happy and recommend this product highly. I also highly recommend you have two sets of hands ready when using the "super glue method". I had to hand my wife the super glue bottle quickly so I could hold the leather in place.

Super satisfied!!! The leather arrived quickly and it looks just like the one that came with the car. I went to a car upholstery repair shop near me this morning and it was fixed in 10 min. They only charged me $35.00 and the rUPDATE: Went to Stiches this morning and it was fixed in 10 min. They only charged me $35.00 and this replacement leather was $14.00..... I am very happy this was fixed for under $50 bucks when I was originally quoted $370.00 to get the part and get it fixed by the honda dealer.

Perfect replacement. Count on having a professional automotive upholsterer attach the cover to the plastic frame. There is not enough material or surface area for contact cement installation. The cover has to be attached with a pneumatic stapler. experienced fingers and very short staples. My shop charged $32.00. It turned out great and looks much better than the original pretend leather.

Shipped very fast. Took my time and about 45 minutes for the complete installation. Used Loctite super glue to attach instead of the 73 staples that I had to remove. Helps to make my 8 1/2 year old Accord feel like new again!

This was sent in a timely fashion but the leather piece needs to be stretched or worked in because it is too small for the console that it says it is for. Disappointed. The quality is good too, which is even more frustrating since it won't fit.

Fit perfectly, but you will have to search for short upholstery staples to install (or as I did file down normal staples such that they don't go through the console lid). Holding up very well 6 months later.

Really good quality leather. Far surpassed my expectations and its Fat better then the original factory leather I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to replace the original leather!
