Dreams & Co. Women's Plus Size Hooded Fleece Robe

This robe is NOT fleece; instead it's made from a thin sweatshirt material, so I feel pretty mislead by the name & description. I failed to get to the UPS store in time, so now I'm stuck with essentially the world's biggest hoodie.I'm 5'5, & weigh 180 lbs, so I ordered the large, but I was swimming in it, & actually wish I'd ordered the small. The sleeves were also very wide, so they don't stay rolled up as well. If you want this to be so baggy you can't see the shape of your body, buy your usual size. If you want it to be more flattering, I'd suggest going down 2 sizes.Now, the good things; at 5'5, this dressing gown is *actually* floor length for me. The quality is good, the inside of the sweatshirt material is very soft, & it has a hood & pockets. If you're looking for a baggy floor length hoodie, I'd recommend this.

This fit as expected because I took many reviewers advice, and ordered based on the WEBSITE published sizing, rather than my normal size. Based upon that, the size I ordered fit perfectly. As described, it is sweatshirt material, which has a fleecy interior. This is NOT polar fleece, so if you are looking for something as thick as that, look elsewhere. It is comfortable, warm enough without being stifling, and still thick enough that I could answer a doorbell in it without being embarrassed. It will also work as a swim suit cover-up if one gets chilled, and is just what I wanted. Expect that I will wash cold, and hang to dry to avoid shrinkage, but that's normal. Best part is, at this price, I can afford another if I need to avoid the wait to day!

Please note that these are plus size. For example, I ordered the medium, which was actually a USA 14-16 (so more like an extra large than a true medium). The tag said 14/16 (see photo) and it fit as such. So really the sizes they list are relative to someone being plus-size. In other words medium is like a an average plus-size woman size (some of these companies from China don't have the best sizing/descriptions unfortunately, but hopefully this review will help). I am only a USA size 8, so obvously this fits me big. However, I was ok with that because I needed it for a cozy robe to thrown on over my clothes when I am sick, chilly, or for modesty, (like if I need to answer the door and don't have a bra on under my clothes), and having it extra roomy is cozy. I wanted a full-length robe with a hood and zipper closure, and this was one of the best deals out there. It's a poly-cotton blend (60% cotton, 40% polyester according to tag), and is not super thick, but it does the trick. The cuffs are double thickness. I am a little over 5'6' and would have liked it to be a little longer to go down to my ankle, but it's ok as is. I put it in the washer/dryer before wearing, (I did cold wash, medium heat; it says to cold wash, tumble dry low) so perhaps it shrunk a little. When it's on me the zipper tends to fall slightly to my right, not perfectly symetrical, but that also could be from the washer/dryer. The pockets are not very deep, just enough for phone, tissues or your hands. The hood does not have a drawstring like a hoodie does, in case you are wondering. Also, it zips up from the men's side (or left-handed) if that matters to you. It's not a top quality garment, but all in all I thought it was a great product for the price.

I have been dealing with breast cancer this entire year, and I'm going in for reconstruction surgery next week. I got this on the recommendation of the surgical nurse (she recommended a housecoat in general, I mean). I need it to be roomy, but easy to get in and out of. Based on reviews, I went with a size large instead of looking for an XL (my typical size in women's clothing) or XXL, and I'm glad I did. I think the label says (L-18-20). I'm not sure if it would actually fit someone who wears an 18-20 normally, but it would come close, I bet. I find it to be very roomy, very soft on the inside. (I hope it stays that way after a washing.) I'm 5'7". The sleeves are just a shade too long on my slightly-longer-than-average arms, which is fine, and it's about an inch above the floor, maybe two. The hood is a nice added feature, since my hair is very short still, and I might get chilly. Plus, bonus: I can pretend it's a wizard robe. ;) Overall, I think it's going to be perfect for my purposes.

This robe is perfect! I've been searching for a robe for a very long time that doesn't look like a fur coat on me. This is soft, cozy, and lightweight. I love it. I believe it can be worn year round. I plan to order it in a few more colors. I usually wear a 14/16. I ordered a large which is a 18/20. I wanted to allow some room for shrinkage. It is slightly too big, but I can live with it. Please refer to the size chart in the product description before purchasing. You must look at the size chart there if you want to purchase the right size. I am 5'5" and this robe fell right at my ankles. I love this!

Yes, it's somewhat large, but I love it! I always roll up the sleeves a bit anyway, so that's not a problem. It actually looks very nice with the lighter color exposed against the dark gray. It's nice to have a robe that goes to my ankles instead of mid calf. The robe just gets softer with each washing. I ordered a large. I'm 5'5" and weigh 147. Crazy thing is the tag says it's 18 to 20 for the size, but that's nuts. Actually, it looks about the same on me as it does on the model picture. Favorite new robe! I might even get another one.Yep, just bought another one, same color and size. I love this robe and I tend to keep these for years, so having a backup is perfect. Like I said, I love it! Nice perk, it was cheaper this time around!
