Great Product
I waited a long time before writing this review. I bought the product August 2016. I wanted to see if the product actually works before reviewing it. Since it takes time for zippers to seize, it took awhile to see if it works. I was pleasantly surprised. It really works well.I applied the Zip Care as per instructions to all but two zippers on items we use almost daily. I also applied the Zip Care on three items that we rarely use but are in the salty environment that we live in. We spend a lot of our time on our boat or in our dinghy which are both in saltwater. I made a note to check the zippers a few months later. 8 months later all the zippers are working like new. Two of the zippers that did not get applications seized a little after only a few months and totally seized by six months. I am impressed and will buy more Zip Care.

Zipper Lube
I've been using this brand for twenty years and it works fine. Might as well put it on every zipper in the house, since broken zips are what retire most clothing. Under normal use, once a year application is generous. It's satisfying to run a zipper which has been recently lubed, so smooth and quiet. The little things in life.......

No more use than water
I tried this on the high-quality (YKK) nylon zipper of a day-pack I hadn't used for a while. The zipper was very stiff and I didn't want to damage it. I ordered the Zip Care and used it according to directions. It did ease the force needed to slide the zip, and I cycled the zip back and forth a dozen times. Two days later the zip was just as stiff as it had been when I put it down. Water will lubricate a nylon zipper until it dries, too. I saw no difference.

Product OK, bottle design not so good.
First, the instructions forget to mention the seal over the bottle opening under the cap. Unscrew the cap and peel it off. Second, the brush is messy and wasteful of the product. For zippers, it is a lot easier to put a bit of the lubricant on your thumb and finger, and then just rub it onto the length of the zipper.

it was very temporary
I used it on the zipper of a Patagonia puffer jacket that had the zipper getting slower and harder to zip after about 3 years. The lubricant worked great after application and for the next 24 hours, but then it returned to just as much drag as it had before. a few days later I applied it again, and again it worked great for a day, and then it was back to where it was before. I did this three times before giving up on it. At least it was only $5ish.

Best Zipper Lubricant Out There
I use this Zip Care to lubricate all of the zippers on our dodger, bimini, and enclosures on our boat. Unlike other lubricants, Zip Care is colorless, so you don't get that yucky white stuff left behind in the zipper teeth. Also, unlike other lubricants, it doesn't dry into hard flakes that fall out when you unzip for the first time after applying it. I didn't have to get my hands all messy thanks to the brush that smooshes the lubricant into the teeth. I used this on a recommendation from a friend, and I'm sold. It took about a half a bottle to generously lubricate all of our cockpit covers, which may be 100+ feet in zippers when it's all added up.

Works great...
I had no idea this stuff was out there. I purchased it to treat a large amount of zippers in a pop up trailer I am renovating. I cleaned the inside with a bleach solution to clean off the mold and mildew in the trailer. This put a white residue on the zippers when it dried. I first cleaned the zippers with a damp cloth (water) and allowed to air dry. I then applied this cleaner to each zipper in the trailer. This was perfect to clean and lubricate. The zippers are now happy again. Nothing like a good working zipper to keep the wife happy.

The bottle it's in is terrible
I got this one because it was cheaper than the other one I looked at, but honestly the cap is terrible and won't close all the way. It's one of those things where they were trying to make it simple and easy, but since it's probably pretty cheap it just doesn't function as designed. I found using it wasteful and messy, and now I need to makeshift a way to fully seal it, since I don't want it to dry out. Luckily I only needed it for one small thing, and hopefully the actual product works well on my zipper, but the bottle is annoying to deal with and next time I'd buy something with a better bottle just to not deal with the hassle.
