Nicely laminated map was easy to write on with an indelible marker. We stuck it to a foam core board for display. Glue doesn't stick to the laminated surface very well, so we used clear packing tape successfully.

An ok map, but still has Russia listed as the Soviet Union. I mean it’s only been 30 years. The big thing is if that’s outdated I wonder what else is outdated.

The map is very detailed. However names of the cities are so small that you may need a magnifying glass to read them. Plus the map has a large margin on the right side. The map Legend is at the bottom right of the margin. It looks kind of dumb. I cut out the margin and moved it over to the left. I then trimmed off most of the right margin so that it matched the margin on the left. A date on the bottom of the map leads me to believe it is current as of 1991. Oil fields are marked in the map in Red. They almost look like Red ink stains.That being said, this was one of the best maps that I could find of the Middle East for displaying on a wall.
