Quality of construction seems good too. Well about as good as it gets ...
This printer does what it's supposed to do. It prints. Unlike devices that are supposed to do a lot of things but wind up doing none of them well this printer does one thing and does it well. Set up was a breeze. Quality of construction seems good too. Well about as good as it gets for relatively inexpensive desktop devices these days. But then this printer only has to print, so construction is simple; there's not a lot of parts that have to be set up/moved around around for different functions.Print quality is also good. I'm printing on cheap paper so I'm not expecting laser quality text advertised but I'm very happy with the quality I'm getting. Speed seems good too. I won't be doing any timing on that unless it presents a problem. Likewise I don't expect to be keeping close tabs on ink usage either. Even so I expect I'll be saving a lot on that score. I very rarely want color from my everyday printer. (When I do need color have other options available.) The reason for the expected savings is not just how much ink is used per page but how much ink is used when the printer is turned on.I'd always wondered why my printers seemed to be using so much colored ink when I was very rarely printing in color. It turns out that very time you turn on an inkjet printer it cleans the print heads, even the ones for colors you haven't used. (It's necessary in order to prevent the print heads from clogging.) The problem is that the cleaning process uses up ink. Hence the unexpected usage of colored ink.So for as of now I'm very happy with this printer.I'm also glad I purchased this on Amazon. Most reps have good English. Only some seem to be reading from scrip, and even then not to an egregious degree. Excellent return policy. So I know that if there's a problem and Epson doesn't solve it I'm not SOL.

Wouldn't trust it as my only printer but good second/office printer
Set up was a bear. You'll probably need a printer cord (don't know that name). It's a standard printer cord that comes with wired printers but this one doesn't come with it. After that, it makes a lot of noise when starting up and preparing to print. Nothing deafening by any means but still sounds cheap and like it's about to break. Doesn't exactly inspire confidence when you're about to print your big important paper you stayed up all night to do.Would I recommend it? Almost definitely. It's been shaky and set up was a challenge but it prints fast with good accuracy.

Gets the job done but no USB included
I have a MacBook Air, which means I don't have a CD drive. Even without the CD drive, I was able to quickly set this baby up within 15 minutes. This printer is super lightweight and can easily be tucked away in a closet when not in use. Printing is super fast. I gave it 4 stars because the USB cord is not included. This was extremely annoying to me. Do yourself a favor and pick up a USB cord at your local thrift shop before purchasing this printer. I only paid 50 cents for one. Get it together Epson!I suppose this printer also has a bit of a learning curve. You do have to do it manually if you want to print on the front and back of the paper. I find that doing that sometimes pauses the printer, and then it restarts all over again instead of picking up where it left off! For example, If I'm printing 30 pages and it stops on the 10th page, it will go back to page 1 when I press the continue button! So annoying! If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know.::UPDATE::After about 2 years of use, this printer prints blank pages for some reason. I bought a fresh package of ink and everything is normal except it prints blank! So frustrating. I have now retired the printer and purchased a monochrome printer from another brand. If you buy this printer, expect about 1.5 - 2 years of use.

Found a "work Horse" in the Epson WorkForce!
*********UPDATED 1.27.2016 COMPLETELY DEAD IN UNDER 3 YEARS!!!!!!!!******* So after low home use and 2 brand new ink cartridges thinking the first one may have been a dud.... NOPE after relentless head / nozzle checks and using alcohol to clean the guts nothing worked!!!!!! I bought the $75 printer in the hopes that it would last longer than all of the $25-$50 basic printers and well it's just like the rest short life span just more expensive...... so when it worked it was great and we are guilty of not using it too much so it's possible that the ink solidified in the head it's self but because of the design you can not get to it to clean it with a q-tip and alcohol.... GRRRRRRThis baby is fast, easy to install and prints well... I had enough with the color printers that would not let me print if the color cartridge ran out but I still had black ink so i never printed anything since the old printer i had took 6 cartridges just for color alone and it never failed when i would replace one .. with in a few days another would go so it was nearly $100.00 for a full run of color ink!!!!!! So Under $74.00 to the door for a high efficiency printer that is fast but still good is great!!!! the WIFI hookup was super easy. and it fold up the panels nicely so it does not take up as much space when it is not in use. i have not tried the print from phone feature yet but if I do I will put more feedback on here for everyone.Cheers!
