Works great, but !!
I have an XM radio that came with the std, auto and home antennas. I was having trouble with reception at my cabin and at my new home location in Mesa Az. Using the amp solved the problem. BUT!!! IT uses RG-6 connections. Therefore you have to buy 2 RG-6 cables (length per your setup) and adapters so you can connect the amp between your existing antenna and radio. Which costs me an added $19. It solved the problem but be aware that the total cost including the amp, RG-6, and adapters is about $41. But not a problem if it solves the problem.

This is my 2nd Audiovox Terk 18 Sirius XM amp. The first lasted just under 2 years.

Works really good!
I've been using a Sirius Stratus 6 radio with an outdoor home antenna connected with about 75 feet of RG-6 coax cable. The satellite signal has always been weak but 99% of the time I was able to listen without a problem, and the radio's signal strength meter typically show 4/10 bars. Recently the radio has not been able to get a strong enough signal for reception (I do not get terrestrial repeater signal at all), so I decided to buy this amplifier and give it a try without resorting to a new and more powerful/larger home antenna.Once I received the amplifier and made the connections, I was delighted to see the signal strength meter is now showing 10/10 bars! I have to say the amplifier works pretty well and has exceeded my expectations.

This device does not work as advertised. It's a piece of junk! I do not recommend it because you will end up returning it or putting it in the recycle bin.

seems ok.. not sure how to guage this qualitatively... using to boost siriusxm signal from outdoor antenna to radio reveiver in house.

Not for xm boom box
Article was fine except that it could not be used with my xm Sirius radio....wrong size....wasted my money....but still a good product I'm sure...iT was shipped quick too..
