Remote works for Pontiac Vibe 2003
Oh my gosh! I am so proud of myself. I am not a techie person but I followed the instructions provided by Cameron. Thank you for providing these instructions. The first two tries, I encountered problems activating the remote key but I realized I still had the broken remote attached to my keys. Once I removed the broken remote and placed it inside the house, it no longer interfered with the programming of the new remote control. I simply followed the following instructions which Cameron posted and amazingly the remote worked. Cameron's flawless instructions are:"The instructions provided were hard to understand but after a quick search, youtube provided much more clear instructions. Here they are so you don't have to search. 1. Start with the key out of the ignition, driver's door is open all others closed and locked, driver's door is unlocked.2. Perform these steps within 5 seconds. A. Insert the key into the ignition(Do NOT Turn) Pull key out. B. Insert the key into the ignition(Do NOT Turn) Pull key out.3. Perform these steps within 40 seconds. A. Close then open the driver's door. B. Close then open the driver's door. C. Insert the key into the ignition(Do NOT Turn) Pull key out.4. Perform these steps within 40 seconds. A. Close then open the driver's door. B. Close then open the driver's door. C. Insert the key into ignition and leave it in ignition. D. Close the driver's door. E. Turn the ignition to ON (Do NOT Start) then back to OFF. F. Remove the key from the ignition.5. Within 3 seconds, the power door locks should lock then unlock automatically indicating successful entry into programming mode. Return to step 1 if the locks do not cycle at this point.6. Perform these steps within 40 seconds. A. Press the lock and unlock buttons on the remote simultaneously for 1.5 seconds. B. Immediately after letting go of the lock and unlock buttons, Press the lock button by itself and hold for 2 seconds. Within 3 seconds, the door locks should lock and then unlock once indicating successful programming. If the door locks cycle twice, repeat steps A and B in step 6 as the remote was not accepted. C. Repeat steps A and B in step 6 for each new remote.7. Open driver's door. "

2003 Toyota Matrix - Instructions easy to follow, works perfectly
So here we are, SIX years later. How's the remote?lol, AWESOME! I purchased it May 16, 2018. Daily use, the labels rubbed off, and the "panic" button never seemed to work, but I never had to use it.The battery had finally started to die, I thought I was going to have to buy a new one. I mean, six years...but then I realized I could switch the battery out, so today I bought it a new battery and swapped it out. It didn't lose the memory, it's still keyed to the car fine.Funny thing, I guess the board was shifted or the panic button didn't sit fully on the switch inside, but now my panic button works great too.See you in another six years!Original review:Worked like a charm. I got it today, and it took a couple of tries to get the sequence just right. The automatic impulse is to shut the door. Ignore your impulses. You start with the door in the open position (for mine, 2003 Toyota Matrix) then proceed with the steps.I had seen some processes online like 20+ steps...This was only 5 steps total and boom, I'm walking away with a working remote for my car. Thanks!!

It works!! Saves me HUNDREDS lol
Purchased this for my 2003 Toyota Camry and programming was SO easy- literally programmed it in under 5 minutes. Lock, unlock and the panic button all work fine but the button to unlock the trunk does not. To me it is still a great deal- the Toyota dealership quoted me $300 for programming a key fob so this is a win in my book lol. I just received this in the mail today and so far it is working well. Will update should anything change..

Good value but beware!!
Compatibility:I bought this replacement key fob for my son's 2005 Toyota Camry. The fob is well built and programming is was relatively easy if you take your time. I was not happy with the QR code provided with the fob that took me to a programming site that wanted my credit card. I looked up the process on YouTube and it was free and easy! Be careful!! Overall, a good value with good build quality, just beware the programming scam!

Exactly what I was looking for!
Perfect. Amazing. Exactly what I needed and SO easy to program to my car! Over the last 4 years I have been to so many mechanics and auto stores trying to replace my key fob and they all quoted me at least $100 for the fob and $100 for the programming. Now that I know that you can buy this exact fob and program it yourself in less than 3 minutes without any special machinery, I am so angry at every mechanic who tried to tell me otherwise. This fob came with a card that directed you to where you can find instructions on how to do it, but I had bookmarked a YouTube video before it arrived and it watched that (I just googled “how to program 2005 Camry key fob”). All you have to do is a specific series of putting your key in the ignition and opening the drivers door and VOILA! I had to do it twice because I somehow missed a step the first time, but even so it only took 5 minutes.

Worked on Pontiac Vibe
It only works properly about 75% of the time. The other 25% it will do the wrong function, like opening my trunk hatch when I press the unlock button. It would do it so often and it got so annoying that I actually had to open the service panel in the trunk and disconnect the hatch lock actuator. You might be lucky and not have the same experience. They still get 3 stars for being cheap and easy to program.
