Decent Scope
Decent scope for price. This is a better scope than the Simmons versions found at local chain stores, we all know the one.Glass is clear, adjustments are labeled MOA and no tools required to adjust. Magnification is smooth with just enough resistance to know it will hold. The fit and finish are nice overall and better than expected. There are problems though. It has a hammered style matte black finish, which looks good but is a pain to get scope level. It did scratch finish off at rings when making fine adjustment of level.Eye relief is very good almost 5 inches on 1 and seems to be closer to 1x than most cheaper optics. Then is between 3.5 and 4 inches at 4x. The crosshairs are extremely fine, wish they had been just a hair thicker since this is a low power scope. It is heavy for what it is but lighter than others such as BSA or Centerpoint. Mainly due to no illumination, which is a plus in my book. Hard to find a low power non-illuminated optic. Now as for how well it holds zero, haven’t shot it enough see no reason it shouldn’t. I have it mounted on a Rem. SPS Tactical 308 with 16” barrel.Lastly if using this on a bolt gun, a one piece base would be better and probably a must on long actions, depending on lop and such, as this is a compact scope.

More than expected
I just mounted this scope today. It's going to be a couple of days before I get any range time, I'll update afterward. But I can tell you this, right out of the box, it was a whole lot more than expected! The first thing was it already had flip up lens caps, which was a good thing because it was difficult trying to figure out what size it needed because Butler Creek's list didn't have this particular model. The other big thing, for me at least are the adjustment knobs. I do some long range shooting, but I'm on a budget, so the fancy Nightforce and Vortex scopes really aren't in my vocabulary. When I unscrewed the caps on the adjustment knobs, they are actual knobs, not big screw heads that you need tools or a coin to adjust. While you're actually shooting, you could leave the caps off and you essentially have the target turrets most people want. The eye relief was pretty much as expected, but the clarity was great! It's like looking through a high power camera lens. And the side focus works really well, it turns smoothly and the yardage markers seem to be spot on for the distances I could see. Now, I just need to get to the range to see if it stands up to what it appears to be. I'll add pics after the range, but for reference, it's on a Remington 700 in .308 WIN with the varmint barrel wearing a Boyd's Pro Varmint laminated stock.

Great value
First, the good. The turrets give a solid click making it easy to adjust. The sight tracks tight along with turret adjustment. I am able to shoot very tight groops, so recoil doesn't seem to be affecting the scope. Now, the not so good. Eye relief is quite small making me get right up on the scope, I would hesitate to be this close to a scope on a high recoil firearm. When moving from 6 to 24 power my groups move up about a half inch at 100 yards. Not horiable, but not something I've ever had a problem with in high end optics. Over all I wouldn't hesitate to take this scope out hunting, or like I plan to do with it, punch paper at 100 yards. It's a great value, but it doesn't stack up to scopes that cost 4 or 5 times as much.

Sharp reticles and clear images. Accurate adjustments.
The scope came with flip up lens covers. Sighted in with 3 shots. I really like it and highly recommend it. Great for a lever action rifle.

Price - Value - Quality - Don’t be a Scope Snob, give this a chance!
I’m not a gun snob, I have a lot of guns and a lot of scopes and even though this is a very value scope it works great for me! The value to quality ratio is excellent, it looks great, it has easy adjustment knobs that can be used on the fly. I have it set it in right now on my new 6.5 Grendel AR at 300 yards and I can shoot a consistent 1 1/2 grouping with little effort and cheap ammo. , I’m not a gun snob and I can’t afford $600 or $800 scopes nor would I if I could, but this thing hits all the marks I look for in a scope, it brings the deer into my freezer!

If you like big fat target obscuring crosshairs, You'll love this...
Scope looks great , feels great, not too heavy for a bench scope, but...holy cow, man, what's with the fat sharpie drawn reticles? I bought this cheap scope from a review that said the reticle is hairline thin, but damn the torpedoes, this thing is a cross hair fatso. I'll give it a chance, though, and mounted it on my Savage 17 HMR. It's been a tack driver with my Bushnell 6-24x Engage, but I wanted to get a cheaper scope to leave permanently mounted on the rifle. At 100 + a few bucks I thought the Simmons would be the one. Oops.

Good
Seems robust and welt-built, though not particularly refined. Optics is bright, zoom as promised, and the only doubt I have right now is how would it handle the recoil. But it does look solid, so fairly confident it'd do okay. I will post an update if there would be any issues after range testing.

Very saticfied, good quality for price
Good quality for the price except for the loose end caps and hard to open without poping the whole thing off. Good clarity. Be careful with the shipping. Mine got a rough time and had the eye piece cap broken.
