If you want to erase pimples and reduce their chance of recurring, then this 20% Salicylic peel is the way to go. It is an oil-soluble peel which means it can penetrate the surface of the skin better than the glycolic or lactic acid peels. As the peel goes below the surface of the skin, it purges oil, dirt and acne-causing bacteria. Dermatologists ad top spas also use salicylic to treat wrinkles and sun-damaged skin. Visible skin shedding is likely to occur with a 20% Salicylic Acid peel. The Kit includes 1 bottle of Peel: 1oz (30mL) and 1 bottle of Neutralizer: 4oz (120mL)

Dried up my hormonal acne
If I can give this a 10 I would. I always had hormonal acne around the chin line. it is controllable during winter - I keep it in check using lavender and tea tree oil. But come spring, when it gets really hot here in TX, pimples start out as little pustules then get cystic. The oils have no effect around this time. I woke up one morning in tears when I saw how scabbed and blackened my chin has become. I tried using the 88% lactic acid which is great during winter but during summer I get a skin burn but won't kill the acne. I was resigned to the eventuality of spending hundreds if not thousands going to the dermatologist because my chin is getting me so insecure. Then I read the great reviews about this product. I try stay away from salicylic acid as the commercial ones that I have bought that has 1 or 2% salicylic acid caused my skin to dry out and breakout more.Since my chin area has been toughened enough by the 88% acid that I used to apply on, using a 20% acid stung me just a tiny tiny bit. I can bear it without having to wash it off. On top of it, I apply hydrocortisone cream and 3% Nadinola bleaching cream overnight. The first week, it was like the acne was getting worse, I was getting cystic bumps. But I kept on applying it nightly. The next week, I saw my chin start to peel and then I noticed no new pimples coming out the next morning. After the peeling has finished its course, I see a younger skin underneath and a lightening of my blemishes and acne scars. I am now on my third week, the acne has all but disappeared. Of course I get one big one here and there - this 109 degree Texas heat will force them out. But once I apply this overnight with the bleaching cream and hydrocortisone, when I wake up, the pimples have all but dried up. Then my skin will start tightening and start peeling.I cannot thank you enough for giving me back my confidence. I had been piling up my chin with body makeup to cover up the blemishes prior to this just so I can show my face at the office. Now, I don't have to use as much foundation, I just need a little more lightening on the dark spots. This saved me thousands hence I ordered another one.To those first time users of skin peeling products, please follow the instructions to only apply for no more than 8 minutes then rinse with water. I have been using skin peelers for more than a year now so I have tougher skin and can handle the acid sting. Those doing acid peeling the first time may get a bad burn so follow the instructions with the package to the letter.

I am no stranger to acid peels such as mandelic ...
I am no stranger to acid peels such as mandelic acid 20% every two days and TCA 10% of this brand (2-4 layers) every 2 weeks. I’ve also been on Retin-A 0.05% daily for about 3 years and even used it right up to the day of this peels. I’ve used salicylic acid 2% products almost daily or twice per day all my life to fight acne. Out of all the peels, this one stings the most and really prevents severe breakouts or large cysts that occasionally make their way to my skin. I notice a huge difference in my pore size, reduced darkness and size of freckles, and my overall complexion is improved too! I don’t expect dramatic peeling, but after every face wash I take off a LOT of dead skin. I’m also hoping to make it easier for serums to reach deeper in my skin, which I believe have been extraordinarily beneficial to my skin and help with healing after use of my peels. For anyone using this product, use a product with SPF much greater than 30. The sun will only ruin the effectiveness of this product!

battles the acne.
Seems to work great, and it keeps my face from getting real oily. Still been using this as a spot treatment and once a month I'll use it over my forehead region. I probably will not reorder this again because when I bought it, it only costed $17.99. I will not be paying almost $27, it's just not worth it. Also If you use it too much it will burn your face. I just use baking soda mixed with water to form a paste as the neutralizer when I am ready to rinse this peel off.

Brughter skin and less acne
This is my first time using a skin peel so the first application stung like crazy and I had to wash it off with cold water and ice for a whole two minutes straight and I only left it on for 3 mntlutes! In afterthought however, I realised that I should not have exfoliated my face for a full WEEK before my first time application to my face.I also put it on my feet the same time and they did not burn at all! And I never had to neutralise them either. After the first application my face was really red and sore so I waited 3 days before applying a layer again... the second time I left it on for a little longer-approx 4 and a half min, neutralised it and washed it off-this time I didn't need to use the ice. After that I let my skin rest for a week and a half and applied another layer and time I was able to leave it on for a full 6 mins. The next night I applied another layer and realized I did not have to wash it off. My skin tolerated it. I did not get burned at all! I now apply this product every night for a week and give my skin 2 weeks break and do it again... it has lightened up my acne scars and definitely brightened up my complection a lot... I mix it with my acne treatment and bleaching cream for spot treatment of sporadic acne and persistent dark spots. This is my second rounds of using this peel and I like the results. The acne on my trouble spots has not completely gone away but it's a lot better to the point where I only get one ever so often. My advice to anyone is to make sure to let ur face build up a tolerance to it BEFORE attempting to leave it on overnight.

Doesn't Work! Waste of Money!
This doesn't work. Nothing happened when I used it. I've been doing my own peels for over 4 yrs now & I just decided to try this brand since l have been breaking out lately. I followed instructions and it didn't work, no peeling, no tingling, no change, still breaking out - It's a waste of money! I've tried it 3 times and no change. Maybe they bottled the wrong strength, I don't know. If I hadn't used it I would have returned it. I want my money back or a better replacement.

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT put this on your ...
DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT put this on your face and then when it starts peeling ripping off the skin it will leave darker skin that before it took really strong around my mouth it didn't peel any where else and now all around my mouth is darker which is a issue that I didn't even have before 😒

It very effective
I used it for my hand, face, leg, elbow and it works greatly. I would advise anyone that would like to used this product to be patient as it works gradually and leaves longer than recommended.while applying make sure you rub the affected areas well and you would see the dirt coming out slowly after application apply Vaseline often to soften the areas and after couple of days it will start to peel am going for the fourth bottles now because my legs are clean and am loving it.Once the hand is cleared to my satisfaction I would send pictures of it from how it was before and after the used of the application.

I regret spending money on these. Literally don’t peel a thing and when I give up using it I saw some cracks on my skin weeks later which was awful it wasn’t a skin peel but skin getting all dry and flaky. I stopped using it and will be throwin them away

Not even peeling anything
Not even peeling anything for keratosis pilaris.Waste to keeping hopes on this that it will peel the skin.Mental frustration is more compared to money which comes next.
