These are wonderful. I am a yoga newbie with chronic back and hand pain, not to mention an injured knee that is not stable. The footies allow me to practice without fear of slipping and twisting my knee (always a huge fear). The padded gloves allow me to put weight on my hands without the carpal bones in my left hand shooting with pain. This is a truly amazing product and I'm so glad it appeared in my amazon suggestions. The gloves feel funny at first, as they are quite stiff. I found the key was to flex my wrist backward before fastening the velcro strap. Kind of like flexing an ankle before tying shoelaces. That ensures they don't go on too tight.

My New Favorite Mat and Outstanding Customer Service
So impressed with this product that a month later I bought a second pair to have on hand as a spare...the second pair sizing had changed but customer service took care of it lickety split and sent me a replacement pair immediately. ....I use these all the time now...originally bought them for travel but now I use them on top of my mat and I don't have to spray down my towel for traction anymore and the extra support on my wrists/ hands is awesome!!! Best yoga product ever...thank you Yoga Paws!!!

works well on the floor, the carpet and the mat
Great for on the go and for classesI was having trouble in warrior 1, 2, and downward facing dog. My feet were slipper on my years old mat. I was looking for another mat, but found this yoga paws. I am glad I decided to try out. The pair works like a charm and grip securely on the floor and on the mat. Now, I can practice yoga anytime without a mat. The grip is perfect. Please note: the product smells when you first open package, but do not let the smell bother you. The smell went away after 2 days in my case. In addition, make sure you try the product a few times before you decide to keep or to return. The first time I did not really like the paws, but after a week, I could not do without now.

Love them
Love it! It provides great traction on or off the mat! The only slight problem: the velcro straps on the gloves are interfering with the bending of my wrists. But it's something I can overlook. Looking forwards to bringing them with me on my vacation!

No more slipping in downward dog!
I really don't like yoga mats, I feel they are restricting during such a freeing activity like yoga. They get in the way, they bunch up, they're just annoying. Plus, I do yoga in my house on my carpet, not a hard floor. But I can never get comfortable in downward dog because my hands slip and slip and slip. These are perfect. They are the yoga mat without the fuss. They are comfortable to wear, they are easy to put on and take off, and they take up no room at all. I have put them in my purse. I keep them on my bookshelf. You can't even tell they are there. I have been using them for many months now and I've been waiting to write a review because I love them so much, but I wanted to see how they did with regular use.I do yoga about 3 times a week, sometimes more, sometimes less. My wrists feel better while using them and after. I am able to flatten my palms easier. My downward dog is 100% improved. They are now as much a part of my yoga as breathing. I recommend these to experienced yoga practitioners and beginners alike. Yoga has been a part of my life for 17 years. I have taken classes, followed dvd's, done my own routine and taught a bit. I swear by these wonderful little gloves.I do have one little complaint that isn't as much of a complaint really as it is an observation. I say that because the little complaint doesn't affect the usability. The little stretchy bands in between each finger that basically keep the glove in place are comfortable, but they stretch during use, especially during downward dog. I'm not going to say they stretch too far, but I will say I feel like they should be a little stronger. During downward dog, my hands don't slip at all, there is just a stretch of the bands that is noticeable. Also, I have made the velcro strap around my wrist too tight at times and just had to adjust them. So, a tip maybe? Put them on do a quick wrist roll and forearm stretch and look for digging in from the strap and just straighten it up and then make sure it's not too tight or too loose. Just right for you.I promise you'll love them.Oh and I saw a few reviews about doing pull ups and lifting weights and stuff with them. I mean, ya ok, they are gloves but that's not the intended use! If you actually do yoga, and lift weights as well, get the right gloves for each activity. They are NOT comfortable to lift weights with. There is no protection of the fingers, just the palm. And it pinches when you close your hand around a bar and squeeze. It's kinda silly to mix yoga with lifting weights anyway.. that's missing the whole point of yoga. Isn't it?Namaste!

I received an email back within minutes from Elyse and she was excellent to work with
I ordered these for my wife as a Christmas present. When she tried them on, the feet fit perfectly but the gloves were way too tight on her. The day after Christmas I sent the seller an email explaining the situation. I received an email back within minutes from Elyse and she was excellent to work with. Extremely kind and understanding of the issue. She had a pair of gloves the next size up sent out to me immediately! The new pair fit my wife's hands perfectly and she loves them! I highly recommend this product and this seller.

I love these!
Now I have no excuse when traveling (or at any time) to not do my yoga. Make sure you measure your hand as suggested; I thought for sure I'd take an extra small but after measuring, I ordered a (regular) small. Really glad I did, as the extra small would not have fit.

Game changer for our yoga practice.
This was a game changer for our yoga practice. I could get a lot deeper into poses and I could practice with or without a mat with these. Cleaning is easy. Just turn them inside out and put back on your hands then run under water and air dry. (Yes that is what the company website says to do. I didn't make that up.) This keeps the sweat buildup to a minimum in the paws.Size chart was accurate. I recommend these thicker "elite" paws if you have wrist problems like me. I also have hopes that they might last longer than the "thins" (also by yoga paws.) Please get the other colors in soon. I pray you won't stop making this line.
