Out the box, everything has been great so far. Very clean out the box with no scratches that i can recognize and is running very smooth. The backlit keyboard and camera work fine. I'm on a run of good success with refurbished laptops so far. My last one I got in 2016 and got about 5 to 6 years in before having issues. If I can at least get about the same with this one, I will be satisfied with the savings and tremendous value though I was smart and got the extended warranty to take care of any issues past the manufacturer warranty which I would recommend everyone to do. I'm looking forward to being very productive with my EliteBook.

The quality is great! We are using the laptop for virtual school. Ours came with some minor scratches on the corners, but that's worth the $250 I saved on a new machine, and was included in the description. It's a refurb, so I expected this.The machine updated to Windows 10 easily. Our keyboard was not backlit. The screen resolution we got was the lowest on the listing.**There's no bloat wear which I really appreciate.**The shipping was a little long, but it came within the stated time frame stated at purchase. The item was packaged **very** carefully and well insulated. There was 2 cardboard boxes, large bubble wrap, small bubble wrap, then cling film and silicone packet to keep moisture out. Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase and impressed with the quality.This was a great buy for a portable workhorse computer for school. Not a graphics heavy machine, but the other specs are great for most applications besides heavy gaming. The overclocking can handle light gaming (not MMORPG).

I’ve recently purchased this laptop at a great price setup was easy.only issue with the brightness button it doesn’t work a notification come up when I try to use that button.recently 8/23 my battery started acting up charger is plugged in but says it’s charging but not really charging ….. that’s kind of frustrating especially because I have work and I can move anywhere I want bc I have to stay connected to the wall and I travel isn’t as useful hopefully I can have my issue resolved with the battery. Again, love the laptop ! But the battery isn’t the best

Llevo aproximadamente un mes con la nueva laptop, hasta los momentos me ha parecido una excelente inversion comparando la calidad-precio, presenta detalles como pequeños rayones, pero nada considerable, todo funciona bien, la bateria su cargador. Aun me falta por seguir probando ya que la pienso usar para diseño y desarrollo web. pero hasta ahora todo marcha muy bien

I recently purchased the HP Elitebook 840 G4 as advertised with the Core i5 7300U processor. The laptop arrived on time and I was excited to set it up and start using. After setting up, the laptop wouldn't let me access the files from the File Explorer and the processor was not the 7300U, but a 7200U. There is a difference and I didn't get what was advertised, plus the system didn't work. I do know that Windows recently pushed out updates that have problems, but when buying something that is supposed to be Grade A refurbished, I expect it to work as it should. The company never really gave me any other option but to send it back for refund. I can accept this, but they could have asked if I was acceptable to a replacement system and correct the problems. I have recently found a better computer at a comparable price to replace this purchase. The company could have saved us both time by helping and possibly replacing.

This works as expected, giving me a good work/travel device for basic web, Office, and email capability. The main issue is that it was (and is) advertised as "- This product will have a battery that exceeds 80% capacity relative to new." When I noticed the battery draining very quickly I ran the battery test in Powershell and, sure enough, less than 60% relative to new. I contacted them and they sent me another battery, when I installed it, the capacity was still not 80%. I contacted them again and they said it was never meant to be 80% relative to new, as their ad still clearly states.I sent them this:_____________________________________________I contacted you when the original battery shipped with this laptop did not have 80% of the capacity as advertised. It had about 58% capacity. See the table below. As you can see the original battery you shipped with the unit had a design capacity of 51,051mWh, which means I should have received a battery that will store at least 40,000 mWh according to your advertising.You shipped me another battery for replacement. The battery you sent me has a lower capacity AND still does not have 80% of capacity. The replacement battery you sent has a design capacity of 46,512 mWh. Reducing the capacity of the provided battery is not acceptable. It provides only 31,669 mWh (68% capacity).Please respond with how you will correct this issue. Please DO NOT send me a battery that has less than 40,000 mWh capacity, which is 80% of the design capacity of the original battery. This replacement battery has 129 cycles on it already.___________________________________They responded with:Dear Customer,Please note that the battery rum time per charge for refurbished unit is 60-90 minutes. As your unit is lasting 2-3 hours is good battery health for a refurbished unit.______________________________________I responded with:Your item listing specifically states that the battery capacity will exceed 80% RELATIVE TO NEW. There is nothing about 60-90 minutes minimum. See attached image from your item listing. Neither this battery nor the original battery exceeds 80% as stated in the listing. See all my notes above. What are you going to do to meet the statement in the advertisement?________________________________________They finally declined to fix the issue by simply mailing me a new $30 battery and gave me a $20 refund.So- good solid device, battery not as advertised. I'm going to order a new battery.

This laptop computer is a great product. It is refurbished and the people that refurbished it did a great job! It is a high quality PC. I love it and use it everyday. Well worth the money I paid!
