When you tighten the spool on the arms, the ends go into the spool holes at an angle. The arms can move side to side and the spool falls off.Used it twice, did not like it. Threw it out. I bought a different style where the spool is held on by rod threw the spool holes and screws in placeIt also has a built in counter so you know how much line is on your reel. Much easier to use.

I filled 4 spinning reels worked great. Can't use a very large spool on it though .

Really had trouble using small and narrow spools of line. The arms did not tighten correctly and line kept wrapping around the spool. This was on a spool of 6lb florocarbon on a 150yd spool. When I went to a 300 yd spool of 65lb braid, it worked fine because the spool was wider. I actually got so frustrated with the small spool I quit trying to even use this tool. Also very little in terms of instructions.

Device would not twist on it’s own when spooling a spinning reel, can spin manually but spinning reel alone would not cause winder to spin. Tried oiling as directed still no spin. Great for bait casting reels, but not so much for spinning reel.

Definitely helped me out. I'm a lonely fisherman with no friends and I needed this.Be warned it doesn't really work as well with smaller rods.

Would have liked more metal less plastic but I get it and it did work okay

A little hard to set up at first almost need three hands to hold everything. Small square of foam in package put between rod and bracket as a spacer works great for wider spools. All in all great product.

Arived sooner than expected. It was easy to set up and easy to spool a spinning reel. The true test is when I can go throw some lures around in the near future.

Received the item 6 days earlier than the forecast date. Package was well protected and item received are in Good condition. Used it to spool up 2 of my spinning reels unfortunately the 1000M line spool although could fit into the clamp, the clamp arm will knock against the fishing rod and not rotate as it should. However it works well with the smaller line spool (less than 7cm width)
