Teva Women's Forge Pro eVentHiking Shoe

Have many Teva shoes and sandles and they are always comfortable right out of the box-until this pair. However, after a breaking in period, these are fairly comfortable shoes. I work in the garden a lot but have problems with foot and heel pain so need shoes with good support (why I like Teva). These have good arch/foot support, good traction, are waterproof. Only downside, they are a little loose in the ankle, as some other reviewers noted, but seem to hold foot in place well enough. Were tight at first but wearing thinner socks help and the shoes have loosened up a little. Thought they wouldn't work at first but like them now. I do not have foot/heel pain after wearing them. Just beware of problems noted in reviews to decide if these will work for your feet. -Mrs. Dave

These hiking shoes seem to be well made, like the gray color and dark teal trim, soles have a lot of grip, and pretty comfortable. I don't think it's fair to judge a shoe totally by fit as everyone's feet are different, so keep in mind this is just my particular fit. They seem narrower in the tow box than hiking/trail shoes I normally buy, a bit bigger in the heal as I'm experiencing some heal slip so have experimented with the different ways to ties shoes for that, length of size is same as shoes I buy in same size. I found them for half price so my intent is for daily wear replacing a pair of warn out trail shoes and not hiking.

I'm impressed with these hikers! Good support and fit - feel very stable when trekking off-road on uneven, rocky surfaces. Heavy duty sole bed with a crazy good traction pattern - plus, they make me a little bit taller ;) My first order was for a size 10. Although my foot measures a 9.5, I have always ordered a half size larger in athletic shoes and boots. However, my feet were swimming in the size 10. Living in CA, I don't want to double up in thick socks just to keep a pair of hikers on my feet. I promptly ordered the hiker in a 9.5 and they were a perfect fit right out of the box - no breaking in required - went out on a hike, which included an off-road run with my Dobe - didn't take the hikers off until bed time - they were just that comfortable! Love the black color (hides the dirt), and the red stitching and blue accents are just enough to add a little pizazz and style. The only negative thing I can report was when it came time to return the size 10 hikers back to the seller in the UK. The USPS fee was almost as much as the hikers themselves! It didn't make sense to send them back, so I contacted a friend who wears a larger shoe than I, and to make a long story short, they fit her, she loves them, so I gave them to her! More satisfaction this way than only receiving a quarter back on a refund once the shipping fee is factored in. Although I ended up spending more money, I still gave a 5-star rating, because the shoes are worth it!

These shoes have really good arch support and a nice thick foot bed, making me feel like running instead of walking. I primarily use them for my daily dog walks and they keep my feet dry and warm enough. The only down side is that they run a little narrow around the front of the foot, I never wear a wide but would have considered it for these. They do seem to be stretching and easing up with use. I did purchase them 1/2 size larger because of other reviewers and would recommend that.

I had a problem with keeping these on my feet when I got them. Then I figured out how to lace them to tighten up the heel and they fit much better. Very comfortable for long walks outside-great grip on the sole. If you search the internet for "How to prevent heel slippage in running shoes" you should find a video explaining how to lace them.

These shoes are great! Very comfortable, and incredibly supportive for my feet. I work in an office during the week, but I am very active on the weekends, so I wanted something I could go walking and hiking in without killing my feet. I bought these and a pair of New Balance sneakers. The New Balance sneakers seem a little softer on the soles, but after a long day of walking or hiking, my feet hurt a lot less in these. I am finding that these are my go-to shoes. Not as pretty as the others, but I choose function over fashion anyways. And they're not terribly hideous... just not something I would choose if fashion was my main concern. I would recommend them to weekend warriors like myself who have sensitive feet.

I ordered these for hiking because I wanted a cheap waterproof pair for when there is a little snow/water/mud on the ground. I knew they would be comfortable because teva is a very reputable brand. I was not expecting them to be so fashionable. I am very pleased with how they look. I could even wear these for casual wear. I've never had a pair of teva's before but I am amazed at how superb the construction is. These are very well-made and will last a long time. If you are looking for a very good quality waterproof hiking shoe that looks nice, well, this is the one. Look no further!

Other reviewers said it was true to size. I have worn a size six for 40 years. Too small. Shoe is very nice looking and seems like it would be comfy. I returned to exchange for 6-1/2.

Positiv an diesem Schuh ist, dass er sehr bequem ist (die Teva Forge Serie hat eine Sohle, die gut abrollt), dass er sehr leicht ist und bisher ist bei mir auch noch kein Wasser von außen eingedrungen. Ich trage normalerweise eine Schuhgröße von 39,5. Zuerst habe ich den Schuh in Größe 40 bestellt, da war er mir jedoch zu eng. Und zwar drückte beim Gehen dass Material des Vorderfußes auf die Zehen. Größe 40,5 passt.Das Große ABER für mich an diesem Schuh ist, dass die Füße darin nicht genug "atmen" können. Die eVent-Membran scheint nicht ausreichend luftdurchlässig zu sein.Ich habe von Teva noch einen anderen Schlecht-Wetter-Schuh aus Leder und ohne die eVent-Membran, in dem das Fußklima deutlich angenehmer ist.

chaussures un peu raides au départ mais quelle confort par la suite, quelques marches et elles prennent de la souplesse, en plus aucune usure après des mois d'utilisation et des dizaines de km au compteur...

la qualità teva a un prezzo ottimo!avevo sbagliato numero (calza un po' piccolo) ma il centro resi si è confermato efficiente come al solito

Avevo un altro paio di teva ,leggerissime e morbidissime ho ordinato queste (modello diverso ) pensando che potesse essere un ottimo prodotto come quelle che già avevo,tanto che sono dure faccio fatica anche ad infilarle assolutamente sconsigliate.
