Acer Aspire E 14 ES1-411-C0LT 14-Inch Laptop (Diamond Black)

Laptop is great, however, I recommend that no one purchases the SquareTrade warranty. Something went wrong with the laptop a few days after the amazon return window and we purchased the warranty. Now we are out the extra $50 for the warranty because they refuse to fix it. They only offered to return the funds and told me that we would have to repurchase another warranty with a new order. It's not worth the extra money for the warranty when the fix isn't $199.00 like SquareTrade claims.

Slow, slower, slowest. Egads, this thing is slow. I've had computers for 20 years and I've never seen one this slow. It can't even keep up with me as I type. Mult-tasking is out of the question. 2GB memory is not enough for Windows 8, and there is no way to upgrade it. Very disappointed, Acer. I've had your products before and they were great. This one is not worth having. I just got it today, and it is going back asap. :(

To be honest I wasn't expecting much from this laptop, but the constant failure in wifi connection is just getting on my nerves. I am not able to access the internet in my room without at least a few dozen wifi disconnection. I will be getting an usb wifi adapter for the laptop, but meanwhile, I will need to reconnect to the wifi every 5 mins.

It is very slow and doesn't have a dvd drive but then again I didn't read the description. So based on the price it is ok.

Just add memory and its fine.
