ACDelco GM Original Equipment MU1777 (19179597) Fuel Pump and Level Sensor Module with Seal, Float, and Harness

I suggest additional information in the post because it looks different and missing parts due to the new design I called AC Delco and spoke with customer support. Apparently the new MU1777 pump assembly has the strainer built inside the unit. The old strainer cannot be installed on the new unit. And FYI - the old pump assembly had (3) posts that the springs were loaded against. The new pump assembly has only two.

it works but wasn't exactly like the stock one I removed. Some modifications had to be made but it worked in the end.

after going through 2 brand new junk fuel pumps, the ACDelco is the only pump for most of the Chevys on the road. Don't waste time like I did, get a good quality pump!

This part DID NOT fit my 99 Tahoe! It is significantly shorter, the float isn't the right length, and I had to cut my factory plug because the connections aren't the same. So after all I still put it in the truck and it does run, but if I give it more than 1/4 pedal it bogs down because it's not getting enough fuel... I'm very mechanically inclined and I've installed numerous fuel pumps and had a bad feeling through the course of installing this pump. I had no issues with the truck until I put this pump in. If you have a Tahoe, Suburban, or whatever else they say this fits it's not true. Worst part is I've installed this part so I can't return it, now I can't get my money back AND I have to start the process over again. I just hope this one lasts through winter!!!!
