It comes vacuum sealed. You could "shake it" and let it sit as instructed but it would never regain its shape. Instead, you have to tear the giant (and rock hard) foam brick apart by hand while it's still inside the bag (otherwise it would make an epic mess). It took me over an hour just to do this, and that is to say nothing of the intense finger/hand pain involved in the process.Once you eventually get the foam torn up, and squeeze it with your hands, it feels like it might be pretty comfortable to lie on. Lying down on it is another story though. The foam is rubber-like and there is very little give to it. It made my head and ear start hurting within just a few minutes. Once I did finally drift off to sleep I would wake up sore in these areas the next day.Adjusting the filling does nothing to change the firmness of this pillow. All it does is modify the height. At any height, the latex foam packs down and becomes surprisingly hard (think of a worn out traditional pillow that has flattened out). You might be able to make it softer by taking out massive amounts of filling, but then the pillow won't be able to provide adequate support/alignment, so it becomes pointless.It's also a gigantic mess to attempt to adjust the filling. If you do this, take it outside or it will be all over your home. It sticks to anything it comes into contact with. The latex smell is supposed to go away, but I haven't found this to be the case. It still stinks just about as badly as it did when I took it out of the box.Everything I have read about latex pillows being too firm (for many people) is true. I assumed this might be different since the foam is shredded. I was wrong. Now I'm going to have go buy a decent memory foam pillow (like I should have in the first place).

I have a ton of pillows and I like that this pillow is adjustable, comfortable and supports my neck. A con is the material inside the pillow is very staticky so use caution you may want to do outside or under tarp, it clings to everything. The other, it is a very heavy pillow, although it doesn't affect it's comfort. It comes vacuum sealed so you need to give it some time to expand and fill out. Overall it's a very comfortable and supportive pillow and I am happy. Will have to see how it holds up over time.

This pillow does not look like the picture. The filling is in hard clumps inside the case and has not expanded on its own. Also the smell is unpleasant. Im allergic to memory foam and have neck problems so this seemed like something that might work but I don't think it will I can't even get it into a normal pillow shape

Super comfy pillow I am really picky about my pillows and the one that I have been using has seem to not been as comfortable as it used to be so I thought I’d give this one a shot and so far I’m happy with it I like the support and the softness of it and it does seem to conform to my head and my neck and my shoulders really well which is really important for me.

I really am enjoying it alot....it has help with my sleep alot.I even got one for my daughter....and she has arthritis...so she is enjoying it too.The only thing that was strange was take the form apartUsually I have a latex pillows, but I enjoy this more

It is to large for a queen size bed. Way to full for me. Took filling out--what a mess. The pillow cases are the only good thing about it. This thing is useless to me.

I'll start by saying it went into the trash! The pillow was like jello (not a bad thing) It felt supportive the first night just a little high, so I began to take some foam out. I read all the instructions on how to adjust the firmness and that was the beginning of the end. Foam was everywhere the minute I opened the zipper. The static is so strong that it clung to my dress I could not even vacuum it off. Dress went into trash too. I really wanted to love this pillow. Please come up with a better design and I might try it again.
