This stuff is awesome! I have had problems with phlegm in my throat for years. I have had allergy tests, tried prescription medication, over the counter drugs, sinus rinses and steam treatments. Some would help for awhile, but it never really went away. It was just better and worse depending on the day. I tried this stuff on a whim and it is working. I take .75 in the morning and .75 at night (the directions are for .5) and while I still have some phlegm, it is noticeably thinner. The taste is very slight. I put it in a dixie cup size thing of water and drink it down. Doesn't bother me at all - no bitter or sour taste. I can now clear my throat with a couple tries instead of hacking up a lung so I'm not coughing and choking. I had gotten to the point where I felt I was going to choke and die on the ball of phlegm before I got it out. And now the phlegm is thin and easily swallowed or spit after I cough. Hate to get graphic, but I figure if you are here reading this, you want the facts. So, whatever this stuff, it does it's job. It will be a staple in my household. My body will continue to manufacture it's obnoxious phlegm, but now I don't feel as if it is affecting my speech and times with friends. There were times when I had often felt when I was having a coughing fit, I couldn't let it go until I got it out, which could take awhile. Besides looking like they thought I was going to die, I would also see that worried look that I might be coughing up germs to make everyone sick. Thankfully it is so much better now. I've been using it for about a month. I didn't see noticeable results for me for about 10 days. However, I have noticed if I skip a few doses, it does start to get thicker again, but with a couple doses back on track, it dissipates within a day or two.

For the price of this, I was disappointed to see the bottle was broken and all the contents were gone.

These remedies (although extremely expensive) really do what they say. They temporarily eliminate bothersome thick post nasal drip BUT unfortunately they also block the absorption of Dopamine based prescription medications. If you have Parkinson's be aware that these will render your Carbidopa/Levidopa medication almost completely ineffective! Consult your doctor before using!

The product completely knocked out my phlegm. I was used to having to cough up phlegm ever 20 to 30 minutes or so. I took a dose around mid-day or just after and by the next day I remembered back on the day before and noticed by bedtime that my coughing phlegm was gone and did not cough at all during the night as before for I had slept like a baby. I still have a slight sinus running but is 100 percent better than before. I also only take Mucous Clear about once a week, but my phlegm issue is gone.

I’m impressed that this actually works from day one. Really reduced the mucus production after day 2. I’m sleeping better too.

I read the reviews where this product works great for nighttime coughing and getting rid of the mucus in your chest. I want to add that it works great for nighttime wheezing also. I've suffered from this chronic pain-in-the-*** condition because of bronchitis. Before this product, I couldn't sleep at night because the wheezing in my throat was so loud and pronounced it would wake me up. It sounded like an orchestra, and sometimes would form complete sentences.This product is a life-saver. I take it before bedtime and I get to sleep through the night in peace. I have to take more than the 0.5 dosage recommended or the wheezing would come back in a few hours. And it's tasteless. I don't have to take it every night because the mucus eventually dries up. But when it's returns during the seasons, I'm glad to have it handy. I know it's pricey, but it's well worth the money. If it weren't for this, I would get no sleep at all. I just hope the price doesn't go up too much or I'm in trouble.I highly highly recommend this!!!UPDATE:I really liked this product. It did work for a while. But then it stopped. I went from taking the low dosage to the very high dosage, and then it just wasn't effective anymore. I guess I should be thankful, because it helped me to realize that I need a supplement that supports healthy lungs by working on the mucus that builds up, not a temporary fix. My advice, is buy the supplements that supports healthy lungs. I did. And my lungs feel a lot healthier, and my wheezing is practically gone.
