Diamond Brite Paint 42300 1-Gallon Interior Latex Flat Acrylic Vinyl Ceiling White Paint

hallway was in bad shape . looks great now . good quality. I'm very happy with this product and I should probably got a Staten but I still like the flat .

First off I will say that I am in no way affiliated with Diamond Brite and as you can see I am a "Verified Purchaser". Were to start, I read the 2 "bad" reviews by verified purchasers and had reservations on purchasing this paint but like my Mother always told me "you never listen" and had to see for myself. Turns out I'm glad I didn't "listen" to what the others said - this is GREAT paint! It arrived and sat for about a week before I was able to use it. I spent time prepping the walls by cleaning them and then applying 2 coats of primer since the walls and ceiling hadn't seen fresh paint in over 30 years, my bad. The paint is packaged well with a security band around the top so no chance of a accident during shipping.When I opened the can I wasn't sure what I would find but was happy to see a nice thick, creamy white paint! I purchased a paint mixer to attach to my drill thinking I would need it for this however I found that by simply stirring it well it mixed up perfect. Now I did say I primed the walls and have to say that the walls sucked up the primer like butter on a dry piece of toast so was glad I put 2 coats of primer on. I then cut in the edges of the ceiling and closet with the Diamond Brite paint and started rolling the ceiling and painted the inside of the 2 door closet. With about 1/2 a can left over I decided to let it dry overnight and hit it all again the next day with a 2nd coat - sorry I just don't want to have to paint again anytime soon lol.This paint covered great with the 1st coat! The second coat was only because I had enough to do it. I saw no areas that looked sparse or in need of any more paint. By the way did you realize that many of the so called "paint and primer in one" type paints suggest you prime your walls first before using their product...So my moral of the story is: if you prep your walls and ceilings like you should by cleaning and then priming, Diamond Brite paint is one of the best values out there and you should be happy with the results!Watch for my review if you want on the Diamond Brite Dove Grey paint I purchase for the walls, I'm sure it will be a 5 star also!

Worst paint ever used. Stir/shake for a long time and still watery, thin. Putting flat white on flat white and doesn't cover. Maybe 4 coats will do it. Plus side - tons of spillage due to watery consistency but wipes off easy even after dry since it's like spilled milk. Better check your process guys.

For $20 this was the cheapest ceiling paint I could find it’s very watery. I had to thicken it up, but it’s easy to do. Over all it’s ok

this paint appears to be very thin but dries to a nice flat white in one coat.

I really like the color, it brightens up the kitchen.

I purchased 2 cans of this paint and both were way too thin, dripped everywhere, I would not recommend. Tried to email this company and kept giving me error messages.
