Awesome knit stabilizer
I like to use this knit stay tape in hems of lighter weight knits. I found it a wonderful aid when using a cover stitch machine. It helps keep a memory fold when pressing and and to reduce tunneling in stitching.

Stability in knits
I have a tendency to stretch out the hemline of a T-shirt. My husband likes to wear his shirts out but usually they are too long and he would ask me to shorten them. I don’t have this problem when I sew a knit shirt from scratch, only when I shorten his shirts. It may be the quality of the fabric. So I bought this to try it out. I cut off the excess off the shirt and ironed on the stabilizer to the raw edge. Use a press cloth. I had to press harder & longer to get the adhesive to melt. After this process, I pressed up the hem to the 1 inch width of the hem tape. This was the easiest part. Didn’t have to measure. Then I set my machine to a stretch stitch and sewed the hem. The stabilizer made it so easy to sew! The results were great! Will buy again.

Works great but heavily scented
This worked absolutely perfectly for stabilizing the hem of a jersey knit dress! The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is that it is VERY heavily scented with a floral smell. I hate scented products and this one is so strong that my whole sewing room smells like it now. Wish there were an unscented version!

Perfect for quick hems on knit fabrics.
This tape is perfect for stabilizing and sewing hems on knit fabrics. It's a bias tape, so there's a bit of stretch (maybe 10%), but it still stabilizes hems for sewing really easily and keeps them from needing extra basting or getting that stretched out, wavy look. One caution if using on a poly knit or other knit that can't take a higher heat or steam setting: you can steam baste the tape or baste it on with a polyester or synthetic setting, but you will need follow up by thread basting it (by machine or hand) to keep it in place if you won't be sewing your hem or other seam right away. If you're working with a knit that can take higher heat and steam, it will adhere without extra basting.

This worked great
I used this for supporting seams in an antique quilt that needed repair and restoration. It helped a lot.
