I've been waiting for Puck's story because I knew it was going to be intense and painful to read. I had no idea Temp's story would be as dark. Each of them has a secret that has tendrils so deep that they don't believe they could find any kind of joy in their lives. As they continue to be drawn to each other and push each other away at the same time, something sinister lurks just outside their periphery, something that wants Temp. And when it catches up to them, it could drive her to a place not even Puck can reach.I love the darkness in these stories, the ugliness the sits deep inside each of these men's pasts. It's something they each work to get past but find themselves needing to dig into in order to survive. Each of these club members' lives reaches a new profound abyss that we forget is part of the world as we know it. There are truths in these stories, and I think that's why they break me so much when I read them. Puck's story was so frightening that only Temp could be the one to sooth that savage beast. And just when I thought an end was near, the author would add a new twist that pulled me back in. She does it to me every time, and I don't regret one single second of it. As is always the case, I am looking forward to the next story in this series.

The best thing I ever did was to read a Tamara Rose Blodgett book! She is a fantastic writer. She has a way of drawing pictures with her words, and drawing the reader in. Puck is the latest installment of the Road Kill MC series. Puck has his demons, and he is trying to fight them, with help from a counselor. Puck meets Temp, a social worker. Temp has her own demons that she's fighting. She doesn't have time for romance, but she does need help. Someone is trying to hurt her. Puck and Temp have to figure out who, and why. The story keeps moving, taking us along, keeps us interested, wanting to figure out who is after them. It's a gripping story. We are kept guessing right up to the end. And, of course, we can see another book coming out of this one! You will love this book.

Temp is a social worker who previously got Pucks brother out of their fathers care. She has a run in with another case , which ended up violent, when she runs into Puck again.She seems to be in the sights of some bad people when she starts to investigate this case.Really love this series and Puck and Temp did not disappoint.Cannot wait for Storms story.

I have never read a more spectacular MC series! I very rarely leave a review, but this lady knows how to write MC. When these men meet their women, they are all in. It just takes some a bit longer than others to realize it.These are all stand alone, but it is nice to see the others fall.

The only thing that would have made this more enjoyable for me to read was a little less explicit sex.

This book was in the zone from start to finish, there was never a dull moment. I loved the fact that they were both trying to work through their issues. The only thing I would have like to have known was WHO the bad guys was. Did he have some kind of connection to Temp?

Puck and Temp are meant to be together, but it takes awhile before either one of them admits it. Puck takes care of business while dealing with his own demons. Temp tries to save as many foster children as she can even at her own risk. These two come back together in an explosion of sparks everytime they meet. Absolutely adored the book.

NEVER DISAPPOINTING.Love this series. I have read every MC story. They are all human and very personable.They all have unique personalities.But love Puck.Can hardly wait for the next book🏍!
