There is not packing or expiration date on the can. How do I know when the 5 year are up?

I called the number on the can. The number on the bottom of the can that I have is C5167. I was told that the C stands for chicken, the 5 stands for 2015, and the 167 means that it was processed on the 167 day of 2015. If you check the bottom of the can that you have, you can figure it out. I think it's a great product.
