The perfect brew every time!
I have used this for almost a year. It produces a great cup of coffee every time when paired with the Hario V60 filter. It is ceramic, so it is prone to chipping. Even with the chip, the coffee quality is great, and the pour over pot is still very much in tact. I would definitely buy this again!

High End Coffee Shop Taste Without The High Price Of Boutique Coffee
I have made the switch from French press to pore-over several years ago with a dripper I got from World Market (pictured on right) and it was a noticeable difference in taste not to mention quicker cleanup. Recently I’ve seen drippers with three holes and thought it would be better as the original one has only one hole and was kinda slow to brew. So I set on a research journey for a new one and discovered this V60. Soon as I saw the big hole and the well defined flutings I knew I was onto something. After reading all the high reviews and seeing all sorts of videos on various types of brewing I knew this is the new upgrade. This morning I brewed coffee in the V60. The brewing process I followed was the 5 pour method and it took 2 minutes less than the previous dripper I have been using for years. But the biggest takeaway here is the taste of the coffee. Same method as I have been doing and completely different taste. Literally a high end coffee shop taste. At first I was surprised at the size compared to my original one. But that does’t matter since it’s a pour-over and you never fill it up.Second the quality and craftsmanship is superb. It is quite thinner than the original one so needs a littler more care when handling.Third it looks wonderful just standing there and you can tell that it’s a pro level dripper. Definitely worth the money if you want to great tasting coffee without spending $5 bucks at some coffee shop.If you are on the fence on making the purchase, I highly recommend it.

PERFECTO
I was excited to try this product and anxious for it to arrive in the condition as it shows being I chose the “red” color! As you can see the item did not disappoint in appearance! It also is super durable and strong! Very happy to move away from plastic pour over for my coffee! I received the filters on today to match this and it made a marvelous cup of coffee! I highly recommend this purchase for satisfaction and durability! Also this size is great for personal cups of coffee! I can make up to a double cup.Another ++ if you like the color RED!Thanks

Excellent Coffee Maker
It upped my coffee game. This is an excellent choice for pour over coffee. It is easy to use, and easy to clean. I was having a very difficult time getting my pour over to come out the way I wanted, including with other versions of the V60, but for some reason, this one is almost fool proof. Not sure if it is the simplicity of the one piece or not, but I am really pleased with this purchase, and am going to buy a second one as a back-up.

Excellent French Press Alternative
The Hario V60 Manual Drip ConeI've found that the Hario V60 is an excellent alternative to a French press.First, the V60 has an elegant design, and a very sound construction. It is clearly well made. If you are interested in this type of product, it may be helpful to know that Hario sells a plastic version of this drip cone for about $9.00. So you should be asking yourself, why would I want to pay the extra money to upgrade to a ceramic model? For me, I don't like the idea of hot plastic being anywhere near my coffee (or food for that matter). The second benefit of the ceramic model is that it retains heat MUCH better than plastic. With the pour-over method of coffee brewing, you need to plan ahead and pre-heat your drip cone, carafe and coffee cup or you will end up with a luke-warm cup of coffee. The ceramic makes this much easier. This product is not for everyone. If you prefer a Mr. Coffee that you can program to make your coffee for you, by all means skip the Hario. But, if you really care about the details of how your coffee is made, and you like being able to orchestrate the process yourself, the V60 is an excellent choice. I have a Bodum Brazil French press, which is equally well made. But I prefer the Hario. The French press extracts more caffeine from coffee than the manual drip method, it leaves sediment behind in the coffee, and studies have shown that French press style coffee may raise levels of bad cholesterol (LDL) in the blood. I don't take the cholesterol claims all that seriously, but I do find them interesting. Coffee people are very passionate about their preferred brew methods, and I appreciate the people in the French press camp. For me, the V60 is an excellent way to brew coffee in the exact amount I want to drink. And it's delicious! This drip cone, paired with proper technique (search youtube), will bring out the full array of flavors from your beans.I'm very happy with it, and give it 5 stars.
