Took it to the pond for the 1st time yesterday..... pulled in a small bass on the first cast!! 30min later, pulled in a 5 pounder.... lined it with 20lb braid & a 20lb fluro leader..... im new to bait casting so I learned the hard way to adjust the brake settings properly.... but after that, cast after cast after cast for 2hrs straight with no backlash!! And adjust the tension knob for each lure.... of ur unsure what that means, youtube "Baitcaster reel tension adjustment"

Great fishing rod!
I love this pole and I am so happy I purchased it. I usually get cheaper poles but this year I decided I wanted something better. I’m not disappointed. Great pole, great reel. The sensitivity is great, you really feel what’s going on and it’s got great casting. I got the 6’6” pole, and it’s the perfect size. I’ve already caught more fish, and more of a variety of fish with this pole then I’ve been getting with all my other poles.

Pole very fragile
Pool is very fragile and snaps easy. Got a lure caught in some Lilly pads and pulled back no harder than I would with a fish and the tip snapped.

Nice looking setup
Great looking rod and reel. Shipping was decent and protected. I haven't used it to fish yet but I have strung it and baited it and so far it seems pretty solid as well as the brake systems.
