A very nice tablet. Easy to set up.
I dislike one thing. I am having a hard time fitting a case to the tablet.

Tablet is great for the price
This tablet does a great job, not sure why people spend 2-3 times more for an Apple tablet like my wife did. It does all the same things at equal or better than her new Apple tablet. The battery life is great, sound quality is good but not great but for my purposes, it does the job when I do not use ear buds or a bluetooth speaker. Great internal storage capacity again for the price. I do not have any negatives at 9 months of heavy-duty use. I recommend this tablet.

Pretty Good, So Far
I haven't spent much time with the tablet but will share my experience. The display is smaller but crisper than my old Tab 4 and it was easy to set up and transfer files. It certainly is slick and requires a case to keep it from becoming a slip and fall causality. One thing I miss is the magnetic sensor to turn the device on when the cover is opened and off when closed. That requires pressing the power button with the Tab A.It's a bit too soon to know if battery life will match that of the Tab 4 and it'll take some getting used to as the device uses soft keys and the OS is similar to the Galaxy S10. The Tab 4 was best suited to landscape mode. It would have been nice if the tablet used bio-metrics to log in but that feature isn't supported. Facial recognition, anyway. The fingerprint method has never worked for me on the phone and still doesn't.The camera is nothing special and I inadvertently triggered a selfie mode with a lot of filters using the front camera but didn't experiment with software - the bare-bones, oops-picture was okay and a tad crisper than I anticipated it would be. If you're into selfies, that may be just what you're looking for.I think the touch screen will take some getting used to. Gestures that I haven't looked into may be causing me some navigation issues but only time will tell. I simply haven't used the device very much, not yet.The downfall of the old Tab 4 was internal memory of only 16 GB and no amount of maintenance could keep it running smoothly. I moved what I could to the SD card and that's where files were stored but it just couldn't keep up with OS updates and whatever hidden bloatware was accumulating. Although, it wasn't a 4G enabled device, 16 GB was inadequate internal memory. The 128 GB Tab A should resolve the storage issue. As with the old tablet, photos and files are stored on the SD card. The Tab A is a sleek device, easy to configure and, I hope, reliable and secure.

Samsung to the rescue!
If you have read any of my other reviews you will know I was not pleased with a previously purchased tablet. But with the assistance of Amazon Consumer Service ladies in the Caribbean area, I found a wonderful tablet that suits my needs. If you just can't find what you want here on the Amazon pages, feel free to call the Customer Service people (from all over the world) who can direct you to what you want-assuming Amazon caries it, which in almost all cases they do! This tablet allows me to add apps that suit me, and my books if I want them from an old tablet, and to Skype with relatives in far away continents. I can talk to it or use my finger or a stylus. There are many things I am looking forward to learning...……..(-:I have a Samsung phone, as well...….great company. Thanks Amazon for carrying this brand.

Better than the other one!!
I bought this after returning the Amazon Fire Tablet!!! The Fire would not stop downloading apps that I did not want. In particular the app that allows Alexa to control items in the house. I keep uninstalling it and a day or two later back it would return. So, I returned it.This Samsung Tablet while a bit more expensive has worked out great! No annoying apps popping up and I download just what I want to use. I am very happy with it and highly recommend.

Nice tablet
Haven't used it a lot yet but so far I like it. Nice to get the cd card with it free of charge. Not the newest tablet but I'm ok with that.

Improve the sound quality of tablets.
Battery is good for now. Not sure after a while of use. The tablet is good. Sound is quality is poor or terrible. Samsung is capable of better quality.

This product has exceeded my expectations.
I purchased the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (3GB Ram, 128 GB Flash Memory, 64 GB Memory Card) for performance and storage capabilities, to satisfy my immediate and future needs. From what I have experienced so far, it looks like I made the right choice. Much to my surprise, the tablet also came with Microsoft (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) appications.

Samsung Is The Best Ever
I have always bought Samsung tablets and they have never disappointed me. The only reason I have bought new ones is just because I wanted a new one.
