My 3 year old is autistic my children are mexican& black so have thick/course/curly hair which grows quick! He can't stand to have his hair cut and while my others have long curly hair Noah cannot because he cant stand the maintenance. I've gone through so many clippers..its TORTURE!! He screams cries as though he's in severe pain having a traumatic experience. We never get an even cut because I (we) can only deal with the situation for a short time. I used these clippers on him and while there were tears... There was ZERO me get drama. The noise was minimal as was the vibration. They cut like his hair was warm butter. So smooth in fact that my 13 year old who has a long curly thick Mohawk used it for maintenance on his. He also said he LOVED them. Not having to use a cord illiminated that visual which ignites fear in Noah. And being able to use it in the tub after I washed his head from.m the first cut I was able to allow him to stay in the tub while I quickly cleaned up tbe edges. Can't say enough good!! Loved these for an autistic child who has issues with clippers.

Edit: Customer service for this company is five stars! They will contact you and try to fix your problem! Unfortunately Amazon didn't let me return the item (since the refund was issued instead of a replacement). Unfortunately I would have to keep the defective clipper because of COVID and not buy another one ( saving money :/). But I think I can make it work. I was thinking instead of grabbing the clipper from the handle, I would grab it from where it locks. Or maybe taping it. I think I would figure it out. And my son will grow, so at one point he won't be moving as much. But at the end the clippers still work.The head doesn't stay lock. So if my son moves his head just a little, he can unlock it and the head moves, leaving his hair looking funny. The vibrations are the same as a regular one in my opinion.

These clippers do the job! They’re a little hard to get used to at first if you’ve never trimmed hair before, but my kiddo ended up with a mowhalk as planned and we love it! Plus we have a wiggly toddler and he wasn’t afraid of it so that was HUGE! So we’re happy!The one real downfall I had was the fact that hair gets into some of the shaving heads and I couldn’t get it out with the brush tool; not sure if the parts are able to be disassembled to be cleaned. Not a deal breaker but inconvenient when cutting longer hair.

I purchased this before my son was born, having a feeling that he'd come out with a lot of hair since our girl did. Boy, was I right. At 3 weeks old, his hair was so full and long, about 2" in length from the scalp, and I'm so glad I had this clipper ready. It was very easy to hold him along my forearm, and use my other hand to cut the sides and top of his hair. I then turned him over in that football, burping hold, where his stomach was on forearm, to do the back of his head. The entire cut only took a few minutes, and he was asleep the entire time. The noise was low enough to not disturb. Easy to clean, and light to hold and maneuver with ease. Just remember to charge beforehand, as it's cordless, which is huge plus for dealing with kids!

This had such a great review I purchased it without second thought and the first few times I used it I assumed it must be human error that the razor head kept falling off. But now I realize it's just so loose and actually doesn't lock on so mid-trim it will start to turn and wiggle.This happens with both default razor heads.

Used this cordless trimmer for the first time on my 1-Year old and it was absolutely GREAT! The trimmer is quiet, light weight and super easy to use. The trimmer comes with multiple guards to give you the perfect length for whatever style of haircut you want. I would recommend when first starting out, to use the largest guard which I did. I was surprised how short that guard left his hair, so I am thankful to have not started with a smaller guard. Overall, I would highly recommend this trimmer, even after having just used it once. It's by far significantly more quiet than any trimmer I have used in the past.

The attachments don't lock properly with the body of the trimmer and as a result they move and fall once the trimmer is turned on, creating a hazard for the baby. This should not happen at this price point, but I guess quality control is not properly done! I have read a few reviews saying the same.. so obviously the brand has not fixed this issue. Will be returning

LOVED these clippers. They were great. Made cutting hair a breeze. They worked for about 6 months (aka approx 4-5 haircuts) Now they no longer hold a charge/turn on. Thankfully, they were pretty reasonably priced, but now having to replace them so soon after purchasing, I wish I had just bought the more expensive ones from the beginning. Overall, I do recommend, but just be aware that these may not last even a year ☹
