Be prepared, you will need patience, strength, and professional tools to install. I recommend hiring a contractor to do it, most people will not be able to complete the installation.

I have a Whirlpool Duet set (WFW72HEDW0 and WED72HEDW0) and I bought this so I could stack them (obviously). The problem was while the plastic clips fit, and the metal clips fit and the holes lined up, the screws were too big and would not go in. I used a cordless drill to try to get them to go in, but it only stripped the threads off the screws. I ended up having to take some self tapping sheet metal screws and the cordless drill to get them in. Once I did that, everything was secure.Also, the feet for the dryer didn't want to go in more than a 1/8-1/4 turn. Turns out there is some sort of bump in the screw threads that you have to get past. It was a pain to install this kit overall. Physically stacking them wasn't an issue as the dryer is relatively light and I had help. There is no way I would attempt this without a second person, it'd be asking for injury.I wish they would have included the proper screws or at least a couple of sizes of screws. I would not recommend this for someone with the same model of washing machine as me, and who is not familiar with self-tapping sheet metal screws.

The stacking kit helped to stack my old Whirlpool Duet model dryer on top of whirlpool new model WFW5620HW washer. Installation was easy but had little problem with the screws provided but with the old screws from my old Duet-Duet Stacking kit it was possible. It worked out and satisfied with the purchase.

Worked as it should these replace the original feet (that do not come installed) so there is no removal, just the installation of these feet. Once installed you level the dryer on top of the already leveled washer, it’s not a easy thing to do but a set of airbags to lift the dryer while on the washer will allow you to easily adjust the feet.The only downfall was that the screws are difficult to screw into the washer (no fault to this product) every thing worked out in the end and the value was better than buying through the big box store.

Kit worked out well. Had to use different screws as ones that were in the kit weren't the best quality. Other than that it was a good deal

I stacked a Whirlpool dryer on a Maytag washer. The brackets are the right length, but the screws did not fit. I had to use screws from an older bracket. Other than that, I'm happy with the kit.

Easy enough to install. Does what they are designed to do, allowing us to stack the dryer on top of the washer, which saves floor space and is actually easier to load. Just seemed a little pricey for what you get.
