Dicor(TAC655-CC Chrome Hub Cover

Simple and to the point, replacing hub covers on travel trailer. Unfortunately, the reason I need to replaced hub cover, is that they come off. I've had my trailer approximately 10 years and I've had to replace 4 covers through out the years. But, I do have a 'fix' to increase the longevity for retention. I place plastic wrap over the lug nuts and then take a heavy duty silicon and squeeze into the lug nut area of the new cover. I then install the hub cap over the lug nuts and wait 24 hours for the silicon to set up. I then pull the hubcap off and the plastic wrap and reinstall the hub cap. With the silicon in the hubcap it allows the cap to stay in place while the trailer is being towed on smooth and rough roads.

They have stayed on for a little over 500 miles. The install process is not as simple as instructions want you to believe. It took two mechanical people to finally get them on. The line up and twist instructions are not exactly accurate.

Needed it got it matches perfectly.

This hub cover matched the other three on our horse trailer exactly.

Have purchased 4 of these over the past 3 years. All have come off and are laying in the ditch somewhere! Trying another brand next.

How excited can you get over a hub cover....took me three times to get the right size. No fault of the shipper...mis-marked by the manufacturer

These don't stay on. We have 4 on the trailer and we have bought at least twice that many. This last shipment of 2 included one that was already broken. They are PLASTIC.

I kept losing these, every year buying more and more.....these units are different, they don't press on, they rotate and lock on to the lugs......they seem to work fine..........have not popped of yet..........(for about years travel).
