Outdoor Interiors Stacking Chairs, Brown, Set of 4

Very happy with this set of chairs. We oiled them twice as suggested, for extra weather resistance, and they look a little darker/richer, which is not a bad thing. The curvy Danish style is really handsome, and so different from most typical outdoor chairs. I found chair cushions that are 18" x 18" and rounded at the back, with ties, at Pier One on sale. The chairs stack fine with the cushions on them. The stacked chairs measure 23 1/2" wide x 27" deep x 41" high. You have to angle the chair just a little to get it on the one below. So far, they seem very sturdy.The wood surface is just slightly rough since the chairs are not varnished, but that's just fine for outdoor chairs. They're NOT low, lounge-style chairs, but they are quite comfortable as wooden chairs go, and fairly lightweight (unlike some of those heavy teak chairs.)These chairs are so nice you could use them as dining room chairs. The top of the arms is 26 3/4" from the floor, something to consider if you want them to go under a table.This is a very good price compared to the price in a catalog I saw. Arrived fast and was packed very well.

No assembly required, arrived 4 days earlier than expected. I read some comments about damaged upon arrival, most definitely extremely well packed from manufacturer so if an issue? Definitely mishandled during transport. Chairs are ideal as arrived however with at least 1 coat of rubbed teak oil, I applied 2 coats; it definitely brings out the richness of the wood & grain. Chairs very sturdy, comfortable & the danish design most definitely added interest to my patio area. Most definitely high quality for the $

I was excited about these out of the box, bought with the matching table and all look great and initial quality is great for the price. After having for just under a year however, I have found that the recommended boiled linseed oil alone is not enough to keep this from looking good outside on an uncovered deck for very long. Despite oiling twice in less than a year there are large cracks opening up on each chair, though structurally they are still solid. I would highly recommend some outdoor urethane and coating at least the horizontal surfaces. That's what I just did, hopefully it will slow down the damage.

The chairs are great! We sat in them for over three hours for dinner and they were completely comfortable the whole time. They look beautiful with the teak table I bought years ago. I ordered 12 chairs and two broke during shipping. I went on Amazon and they were not willing to help me replace the chairs. They only offered a refund, so I went directly to Outdoor Interiors . They immediately said they would replace the chairs and within ten days I had two replacement chairs. I am very happy with my new set of 12 chairs.

The chairs are beautiful, but 2 of my 4 chairs were broken. I ordered a table from the same company, and it was broken as well. Such a disappointment. One of the broken chairs had a note on it that said it was broken!! So they sent it to me knowing it was broken??!! Do not order these. They are a pain to send back!!

Two out of 8 chairs I ordered were broken in their box. They seemed to have been stained right before being sent out because they smell pungently of wet stain. The chairs are comfortable and I like the style, but the wood is fairly rough (like they still need to be sanded and sealed) and the stain is very uneven and blotchy in some areas.I really wanted to love these chairs, because the style is great and I like the fact that they are solid wood. If I had to do it over again, I would probably not order these. I may need to do a bit of refinishing of them to get them right. I hope it is worth the effort.

Chairs look nice and sturdy, but we used for the first time yesterday and the back broke on one when someone sat in it. Several customers mentioned the broken back in shipping, but ours arrived intact and did not break until used. Several weeks after the return period!I guess there is reason they cost 1/3 of good teak chairs!

Beautiful set that are both comfortable and durable. We live on the Long Island Sound and needed furniture that would both be heavy enough not to be tossed about by wind but also stand up to the sun and salt from the splashing waves (yes. we are that close to the water). We oiled it right away with marine grade Teak Oil to help protect and seal it before letting it sit out in the sun. Rain beads up rather than soaking in. We'll definitely do more coats to protect but so far we are exceedingly happy with these chairs!
