Cute Design but Expensive for what it actually is
Really cute but I expected more from something I paid $80 for. It doesn't offer much entertainment and the toys aren't very engaging. The monkey doesnt do anything. The tucan does not chime at all, just works as a really quiet rattle. The leaf on the mat makes way more noise than the leopard. The sloth is handy though needs stronger clamps in the arm. It barely stays attatched to our car seat so it prrtty much just sits at my son's feet in the carseat. The only thing I really use is leopard which my son loves holding, and the sloth. I tried to hang other toys to get my son to play with it but the unique hooks made it challenging and the arches themselves can't hold much weight. My son pulled the whole thing down on himself as soon as he tugged on the monkey and the mirror hit his face.So long story short, I paid $80 for a sound sloth and a small stuffed toy. I give it 3 stars for the quality of the bottom mat and that my son really loves the sloth and leopard.

Cute but frustrating
I was expecting for the price for this to be a good play gym... it is not. The toys are okay but more cute than engaging for babies. Not a lot of textures or easy to grab crinklies. But that's okay, we have lots of toys and little rings we can attach. But the cross bars are SO frustrating. The mesh serves no purpose other than to block your kids view of your face and it's so easy for them to push over either onto the floor or pull down on themselves. I'm kind of surprised it's even safe like that. Once they can pull on toys it just comes down on them. Don't fall for the cute theme... it's not a good choice.

Engaging and not obnoxious!
My son loves this rainforest play mat and I’m a fan, too! The little toys can be moved around easily on the bars with the clips and can come off the clips, too, so that my son can hold them and play with them. I love that these toys aren’t obnoxiously loud and flashy - the loudest toy is the sloth which plays nice bird sounds and ocean sounds. My son loves looking at himself in the mirror in the forest canopy, grabbing the ring on the toucan, and crinkling the leopard. The toys encourage him to look around during tummy time, too. The canopy bars do lean if we don’t even out the weight, but they are easily righted. My son is a large 3 month old and I love the size of this mat. I can lay under the canopy with him and play, too. I would recommend this.

Doesn’t stay standing
Very cute colors and design. But will not stand up on its own once my son starts playing with the toys. Very disappointing wish we would have invested in a different one that could handle the baby swatting.

Disappointed
Smashed box, missing toy- received as a baby shower gift, cute but not worth the money

Bad quality
First one arrived with ripped fabric, my replacement also has a hole in the canopy. Very disappointed in the SkipHop quality.

Arches Constantly Fall
The arches can barley support the weight of the provided toys without falling to one side. I can’t imagine when he starts pulling on them that it will stay. I’m constantly trying to get it to not fall over on itself. So disappointing

Jungle playmat: Unstable design do not buy
This is for the Jungle playmat. Notice Skip Hop/Amazon is grouping reviews together of different playmats to inflate the rating of this one. The jungle playmat's bars aren't arranged in an X like other mats, instead it's a triangle, with mesh between. So the bars don't support each other and constantly fall over. It relies on the clip on mirror to hold the whole thing up, which doesn't at all work. You could breath wrong on this thing and it'll fall over. Once your baby pulls on one of the toys, it'll fall over onto them. And for $70-$80 this is more expensive than similar play mats. Just a terrible design, and ridiculous price.

Great range of accesories and ways to engage
Great activity gym. Would definately recommend and would buy it again. The canopy and jungle sounds gives a real immersive feel. The mat is soft and interesting. The whole item is colourful without being in your face bold. It comes with a lot of accessories and features relative to other gyms so feels extremely good value for money. The sloth makes jungle and white noise sounds for 10mins and stops, which is a helpful marker of time. The tummy time cushion really increases the versatillity of use. Overall, the gym is of great quality and maintains interest for a sustained period of time.

Love the design but the canopy doesn’t stay up well
I really loved the look of this, but was disappointed because the canopy falls to one side a lot. It takes a lot of fidgeting to get it to stay in place a lot of the time. Not sure if I have something put together wrong but I believe it’s just a design flaw.

Just okay
Very cute but the canopy doesn’t stay up. Would have thought it would be more padded- I needed to add a blanket underneath on our hardwood floors. Definitely has a cheap polyester feel but baby loves the little toys especially the sloth. The sloth is great, something to keep in mind is that the sounds stop on their own.

Doesn't stay standing
This is such a beautiful looking playmat but unfortunately the arms are too flimsy and don't stay standing, which we didn't realise straight away. Now my baby is old enough to interact with it unfortunately as soon as she grabs a toy the whole canopy just falls over onto her and so we can't let her play on it. Very disappointed.

Doesn’t recommend
I wouldn’t recommend this product. This is a good size mat but the canopy doesn’t hold in place at all and is always falling. I regret buying this item.
