I did lots of research before I decided on the Neato Pro.....and read all reviews. I have two dogs and 2 cats. I couldn't keep up with the vacuuming. The Neato has been the best appliance I have bought in ages. I cannot believe how much pet hair, etc. it vacuums. All the proof in in the vacuum bag. It is a powerful machine and hugs walls, corners, and nothing has stopped it....not rugs, thresh holds, carpet, tile....it does not go down the stairs....smart little thing. It can be programmed to vacuum on certain days/times. It has been a big help to my bad back and awkward big vacuum which I only use weekly or less. I am thinking of buying another one for my second floor. Thanks to all of your revues on the different robots that helped me make my best decision. It also comes with an extra filter and band (haven't used the 'band' yet, no need. I just let it rip)

For my last order of filters, I purchased a 3-pack that was around the same price as these 2. After using them, we noticed that dirt wasn't pulling all the way up the chute and into the bin, and would gather around the bottom of the chute or be stuck in the front of the bin. Also, when we first got the Neato you could feel it blowing air from across the room, however when we switched to generic you could barely feel air if you stuck your hand behind the unit.It got to the point that my wife and I were ready to send the whole unit in for repair, then on a whim I decided as a last resort to buy the more expensive manufacturer filters. And, just like that, the Neato is back tufting up your hair from across the room and pulling dirt all the way to the back of the bin.

The Pet & Allergy filters are in general the only good choice for the Neato Signature XV (and XV Pro) vacuum-robot. However I have noticed that different suppliers (or maybe production lots) have different filter material. The difference could be striking when you have pet hair on it, as some of the filter materials tend to collect the hair, making it quite hard to clean it off. However the latest filters I have purchased can be cleaned easier. I also have to tell that the filters purchased from "Coffee and Toy" might not be original Neato products, as they are missing the company logo (which was visible on my original filter pack), and they fit a bit too tightly (but still useable). This is not necessarily a problem, but just keep your heads up.

true replacement. they work fine. they seem to get dirtier quicker...may be the environment??? more junk in the air??

These filters catch noticeably more dust than the original orange filters that came with my XV-12. I have cats and anything that cuts down on dust is always helpful. The only downside, which is hard to spot in the product photos, is that the filter itself is larger and takes up some extra space in the dirt bin. Not much, an inch at most, but if you're like me and tend to have the dirt bin filled completely with every run, you may notice the lower capacity.Other reviewers have mentioned receiving knockoff filters that look considerably different, I can at least confirm that the ones I received (the seller was Susan Ashley) are identical to my other Neato filters.

If you have a Neato you are probably into a clean house; and this filter does a much better job than the original orange filters. I've not done any careful measurements, but I would guess that the filter has at least 10 times the filter surface area than the original, and with that extra surface area it can be designed to trap smaller particles without reducing the suction power of the vacuum.I've not tried to clean it with water, but it vacuum cleans really easily with the wand from our Dyson upright.I also have one Neato with the original beater bar and one with the newer beater bar with the brushes; my sense is that this filter made more of a difference than the different beater bars (we have both carpet and wood floors).If you are thinking about upgrading your machine, you may want to start here. Made a huge difference for us.Hope this helps your decision making.

These filters are pretty great. The price is a bit expensive but the performance of the filters easily makes up for it. I replace theese things every 6 months as recommended and vacuum the filters once a week. It takes about 3 minutes and it seems to prolong the useful life of the filters so that by the 6 month mark, they still are performing at about the same level as when brand new. I vacuum 3 times a week so the other times when I empty the bin, I just bang the filter out and put it back.I've used the original Neato filters when I had an original Neato when it first came out, and I can say that these filters absorb leaps and bounds more stuff the the previous ones did. Most definitely worth the cost over the old filters.

I call my Neato my "Robot Son" and feel rather attached to him. I got him from a friend of mine, and so replaced his filter with these after he arrived. The filters do a great job of trapping dust and dirt. I'm not sure yet when I'll need to swap them out, but I've been satisfied so far.

These filter snap into place perfectly and have been working great! No issues at all, I've cleaned them with (another) vacuum several times and they're holding up very well. When I need more, I'll definitely buy these again.

These are not the original neato brand filters, they are only posing as them. However, they seem to work just fine so I will probably re-purchase.
