The regular is great, this one suffers from a pervasive flavor/scent of the (preserved?) cranberries
I've long been a consumer of the Barbara's regular flavor. I thought I'd give the cranberry a try because a) it was different and because b) at time of purchase, it was considerably cheaper. However, the problem is the cranberries. They have a very "antique" flavor that pervades the entire batch. When I eat the regular, I always add my own nuts and dried cranberries. The difference between dried cranberries you'd buy at the store, and the heavily "preserved" ones in this box, is pretty huge. Stick with the regular, a 5-star product.

Not my Replacement
I loved natures's path Zen Optimum cranberry & ginger cereal and for some reason it is no longer sold. I am so sad. I have been searching for another cereal to take it's place with the same flavor. I thought I found it in this since the ingredients seemed similar,& it looked similar in the picture... NO.It has a good taste, nothing to scream about. A lot of fiber. But it is missing that special umph. I bought a case, ate one box & gave the other 5 away.

I like the taste.
I bought these for the fiber, fully expecting them to taste like cardboard but I actually like them. They aren't my favorite tasting breakfast cereal but they are quite good in addition to being healthy.

Extremely healthy choice that still tasted pretty good. Especially good with a little fresh or dried fruit added. When they say high fiber they mean it. You won't be needing a second bowl. Very filling.

Sweet but good.
It's pretty good, but I do find it a little too sweet for me. I am not a big fan of sweet first thing in the morning, but that is just me. It does have good flavor.
