Must have to hold wig in place ,extra helpful and so easy to use! Worth the $$
Easy to apply, but they do stretch out quite easily and quickly lose their shape if you follow directions for tight fit. First time using , so in all fairness, it could be me. Seem well made and lightweight, easy t wear. I don’t find it adds any extra warmth to the wig wearing experience. I would use to hold hair back to clean off make- up when washing face, or applying make-up, or just out as a head band to hold hair off your face, but you hair will easily cling to it. Fair price, personally, I think it should be 3 for the price, but it is a great value overall. Doesn’t slip from position if applied correctly and is helpful holding wig in place really well ! I wear just the band without cap and my hair down under wig .so easy to use ! I ordered more and they will be here tomorrow (really today lol 10th) on sale this time !

Comfortable and secure.
This wig grip works great to keep your wig in place. For the first time, my wig is comfortable, feels snug and secure, is less itchy, and I don't have to constantly worry about it slipping. I've heard people say they forget they're wearing their wig, and I could never imagine that being possible for me. I get it now. I went to a wig salon last month, and this style of wig grip is what they used during my fitting. I can see why. Love it!For reference, I am on the other side of cancer, but my hair never filled in. I do have hair, but it is very thin and fine. I wear this wig grip over my clean bio hair without any other head covering, and it hasn't slipped yet. I don't use glue, but my wig is a 5x5 glueless cap construction. I also have not experienced any issues with the velcro catching on anything, and the grip does not add a bump or cause the wig to lift anywhere. I wear is behind my hairline - more on top than at the front (that is where the wig consultant placed it during my appointment). The last thing I will say is that I appreciate how the nude color helps make the part look more realistic. However, the grip is not wide enough to give you more than its width of "scalp" without something else on your head, or taped or sewn into the wig. I will be looking for a solution, but for now, the security is a huge improvement and the part on my wig does look more realistic. It would be amazing if the manufacturer came up with a grip that had an extended section attached to place under the part!

Works great, itchy material
It does help hold a grip, as soon as I tried the band on everywhere that it touched itched horribly, make sure to wash it before you even try it. Typically I do that I just got excited to try it with my first wig. I had to remove the band within less than a few minutes due to sensitivity to the material.

I like this wig headband, works as described
I wear wigs every day and generally hate having to glue it down, especially if I'm not going out for long, so I figured I'd give this product a try.Pros: It works very well and feels very secure - my wig does not feel like it's going anywhere when I use this band. I didn't do a lot of stress-testing, but it worked nicely on when I went on a walk earlier. It's got some good grip. Just a tiny bit of stretch to the material, which allows you to get a really nice fit around your head. The size will probably fit most peoples heads since the way the velcro is applied leaves about 4 inches of room to loosen or tighten the band.--Cons: The headband adds a bit of bulk under the wig and it's noticeable under the lace if you're looking for it. It kind of made my lacefront look like a hardfront so I had to blend some makeup out on the middle part so it wasn't as visible. It's also a bit hot underneath a wig, which can already get a bit hot.--Overall comments:The material reminds me of a microfiber cloth. Not a pro or con, just noticing. For quick going out, I'm pleased with it for an easy solution to go to the store or something without having to glue the wig down. I honestly probably won't use it for when I'm dressed up though, it'll be a purely "girl on the go" convenience kind of option for me.Works as described and fulfills the want/need I had when buying it. None of my "cons" are enough to remove a star from my total rating, since the product is completely what they seller has said it is. Very straightforward product and I like what it does, and the price point is reasonable for me and will allow me to skip a wig cap and glue when I don't need to wear a wig for long.

It's Too Darn Hot!
I'm a breast cancer patient, lost my hair to chemo, very new to wigs, so here I am. Breast cancer treatment can be hot, sweaty business due to hormone therapy, and a wig is already a warm ordeal. These velvet bands work well to prevent my wig from sliding, but the band was wet within several minutes, and it felt soggy under my wig until I could remove it. I switched it out for a silicone band, and voila! Magic!! I expected the opposite to be true, but the silicone band is much cooler (and dryer) than the velvet. It's summer now, so maybe I'll switch back to these velvet bands in the winter, but right now it's too warm for their use. The stretch was perfect, the fit was firm, but it just made me too uncomfortably warm.
