High quality and durable
I've always been impressed with the Snow Peak brand. These were purchased to replace a cheap set of steel stakes that had come with my tent. These are significantly more substantial and high quality, and I haven't had any issues with them bending or holding. The eyelet is a nice touch, and makes removal of them using a hammer with a hook a breeze.

Great product
To start out the stakes are on the heavy side. I purchased both the #20 & #30 to use on my Kodiak 8 person tent and 4 season north face 4 person. The main reason for purchasing was to use the stakes in Utah areas with mostly rock. I had gone a little bonkers trying to hammer in the 16 stakes that came with my kodiak tent into mostly small to medium rocky soil. After bending 2 of the stakes I ordered these. I camped at the same site and used the 13 #20 stakes i purchased and the three #30 from a local camping store. They all hammered in and were secure. Note: a couple of the spikes points were dulled after hammering in but were secure. The #20 work great on the smaller tent. When the #30 are back in stock i will order 13 more for the large kodiak tent. You have to have all the stakes in before raising the tent. They are great for car camping.

What every camper or Hunter needs for their tent.
I use the snow-peak #20 solid stake on my last hunting trips in December. It did a lot better than the usual aluminum or plastic steaks they give you especially in the Rocky region I'm in Arizona. Although one of them did ben because it had hit Solid Rock it's still held up in the ground. All four stakes I use held up pretty good in the ground even though one that was bent. I was able to somewhat rebent it back straight and should still wear perfectly the next time I use it. I hope.

Great quality stakes. Use them for trailer awning, SUV awning, tent camping, and Tarps. Very convenient removal from ground. I recommended longer than 6" stake for soft ground especially after a rainy day.

Great heavy-duty stakes
I got these stakes since on my last camping trip on a mountain, my old stakes got all damaged and bent since the ground was way to hard. I was looking for kind of heavy-duty stakes and found these. I also got eight of the "Snow Peak Solid Stake #30 Tent Stake" for a snow camping trip I just came back from, and they worked great. The #20's I have not tried yet but having tried the #30's, I am sure these ones will be just as good. They are really very well made.Pros:- Very well made- Several lengths available- Sturdy- Durable- On the top, it has a hole and a hook so you can tie or fix different kinds of things to it.Overall, great stakes, I totally recommend these to anyone that needs heavy-duty stakes.

Built to last!
These are great stakes! They are very heavy and very strong, not meant for backpackers. And relatively expensive, but for me, worth every penny. After growing up with crappy plastic stakes or flimsy thin metal ones that bent like noodles and caused constant annoyance, these Snow Peak stakes brought me peace. The small 8-inch #20 stakes are good for most modest sized tents (say 4-6 person size) in reasonable holding ground. They are tough enough to pound into hard Utah earth or if necessary, into wood. They’re OK in soft soil but you may want longer ones in poor holding ground. I use the 12-inch #30s for that or in the strongest winds. No straight stake is good in soft sand; you’ll want special anchors for that or if you’re on solid rock. These work best in conjunction with the copper top Snow Peak hammer since its hook is meant to fit the hole, or slide under the hook. The hook can be used to rotate the stake for easier removal, and is also good for digging to get under the stake if you pounded it all the way in. If you need to keep weight to a minimum, there are some good aluminum or light steel stakes that are a good compromise, but if you are car camping and can afford the weight (and cost), these will never let you down.

I bought these for my brother because he complained about breaking his stakes all the time - But after using them in Yosemite for 4 days (the camp spots can be pretty rocky in places) I'll be buying a set for me too.
