I also bought another which did not have all the aluminum this one does for my "good" knee. Guess which knee sprained when I did my face plant. Yep, the good knee tweaked a bit while the bad knee nothing happened to. Plus I was able to put lateral pressure on my bad knee without it buckling.Very light and easy to put on but you have to put it on carefully to get the full support available. Fits perfect. Was able to ski with my ruptured ACL.

while the brace looks great, I never got the right fit. tried three different sizes, adjusted pads, read through suggestions aND finally gave up. maybe my leg is oddly sized but it either fit my knee and was too large in the thigh and calf fitting or did not fit my knee and just right on the thigh and calf.

With a bad knee this brace has allowed me to be more active and more protected. It is very sturdy. Seller made transaction a perfect buy.
