LaviShea Unscented Lotion Bar

With the addition of coconut oil to the existing soy and shea, I find it doesn't work as well for me. Softer yes, but that means less shea, which I assume is the costly part of the formula. Also, while the new design of the box may have "come from a computer" as so proudly announced on their website, it should have been art directed by a human as it is no longer as air tight once opened and closed a few times . As a matter of fact, I found myself trying to put a gasket of plastic wrap over the top to completely seal. The can was much tighter and kept the product fresher. But now, with the coconut oil, I don't much care any more and will look for something else. Another good product down the drain. This one didn't last very long...

I agree with the earlier less than stellar report. first, the new containers are horrible. you could keep a LaviShea bar in your purse in the metal container, but you wouldn't dare do that with the new plastic. the lid isn't going to stay on unless the container is kept on a flat surface, and the tiny "latches" that keep the lid on are going to wear out long before the lotion bar is gone. this change in packaging was a very bad mistake. also, the coconut oil makes the "unscented" lotion bar scented. it's not much, but it's there, and it's not even pleasant. I won't be buying these again.

I use this while I stitch. Keeps you fingers soft and you don't snag your threads.

Just before Christmas I had a bad rash break out on my wrists after I got into a cedar tree. I tried every healing agent I could think of with no relief at all! The ONLY relief I get from the dry and paiful outbreak since then is from Lavishea Lotion Bar. When I use it consistently it dissappears! I discovered Lavishea at a gift show and went seeking them at Amazon when I ran out. Thank you!

Great stuff, I purchased for use on my hand when I knit, but I use in all the time now.
