Worked wonders on our couch!
The handle cardboard is a little too small to hold at first, but you kind of get the hang of it after digging your nails in and then having to clean them out (oops).Worked a miracle on our couch which has been pilling on the seats a bit. Removed the pills super fast with minimal effort. I do recommend having a hand vacuum ready, because it does leave a mess, and you do need to use a lint roller or the vacuum on the fabric if not easily shaken out (like a sweater or blanket).Wish it was a tad cheaper, but I expect the stone to last through years of use, so I look at it like an investment in keeping my investments (clothes and fabric furniture) looking nice.

Better than Sweater Shaver!
I bought this because my sweater shaver was just not getting close enough to get all of the pills. This works amazing!! No batteries no worrying about dulling blades no worrying about putting a hole in the sweater! BUY THIS and not a sweater shaver!!

Paid for itself in 5 minutes
It did exactly what it was supposed to do...removed those irritating little pill balls that pop on on sweaters. Within 5 minutes, the cashmere sweater that was headed for the trash was restored to it's original glory. I had thought it was a little expensive prior to purchasing, however, now I think it's actually a bargain. I've thrown away numerous very expensive sweaters because they started to pill up. Cashmere in particular seems to be the worst! Anyway, I I just saved a very pretty pink sweater, and won't be throwing away anymore in the future unless I get tired of them. Super happy!

I guess it works, but...
So I bought this because I have three dogs and four cats in my house. The hair that gathers on clothes is insane, and I was trying a few different things to see what worked best. I bought this thinking that after the clothes have been washed and dried, and the pet hair is in little clumps, I could use this to get the clumps off instead of picking them off by hand. Now, it did take the clumps off, but I could only use the lightest of touches or the "stone" would crumble. It's pumice and the crumbliest of pumice stones I've ever seen. It was quicker to just use my fingers as I'd have to clean off the stone (with my fingers) once it got the smallest amount of hair on it. By the time I was done with one garment, the amount of stone crumbs left on the material made me just rewash it anyway.

For those stubborn garments!
This product is most useful for those garments that have pilled and simply cannot be corrected with your every day fabric comb. Be careful, as it does leave a trace of stone dust when using; try to keep it boxed when not in use and only use it when called for… otherwise it’s fantastic!

Works like a charm
This thing is amazing. I used it on my couch and the cushions look brand new. That said, there a couple of downsides. The first, because it's volcanic pumice, it has a slightly sulphuric smell to it. Also it leaves a fine dust behind as it wears down so plan on vacuuming after you use it. And finally, you'll have to keep buying them because as you use it, it wears away. Even with all that though, I will absolutely be buying it again because it works so well!

Works great, preferred over sweater comb
I use this for removing pills from wool and cashmere sweaters and throws. I prefer it over the sweater comb, which I found catches on fibers at times. This is easy to use and has a bigger coverage area so works faster on larger throws. Love the Laundress products and happy to see these on Amazon!

Not sure if me or not, but didn’t work
A lot of people seem to love this, but it just did not work for me. It made a mess of pumice shavings and left a slight smell and barely took out any picks on a sweater. I bought a gleaner instead.

Great for making sweaters last
Works really well on delicate sweaters. It refreshed sweaters I had stopped wearing due to their pilling. The pumice does flake so be ready to shake out your sweater after and have an appropriate surface to work on.

Not Working as Advertised
Maybe it’s me or my sweaters but I can’t remove the piling with this… I’ve tried following tutorials but it’s not coming off in a way that’s practical for something being sold as a solution.
