Great balance
I bought this for my grandson, who takes Aikido and is also a huge Doug Marcaida fan. He showed it to his Sensei, who was quite impressed with the craftmanship and balance of this reasonably-priced practice sword

Great Full Tang Practice Katana
Love the sword. Great quality. Shorter than the typical Katana which is 40”. I’m 5’4” so training with the 40” was difficult when trying to remove it from the scarborough to start my techniques. My only complain...the tip is still VERY sharp. I had to use a metal sander to bull nose the tip then file it to smooth it out in order to use it at my dojo.

Well made iaido for kenjuitsu, iaijuitsu and bogyawaza
This is my second iaido from this company as my last one is pretty worn after six years. I would recommend it for beginners as well as more progressed student/ practitioners. My teacher was pleased with the balance and feel as well.

Good training sword for iaito
Good training sword for iaito. Well made, Good (heavier) training weight. Came fast and well packaged. That said, I ended up selling this to a training partner and buying a more expensive one from tazandoshop.com to get a longer blade length. Blade length on this model is 28 1/4 ".

Sword looks really, really nice for the asking price. I really recommend this sword. It's heavy and fun to practice with.

Worth the price, but a little rusty.
The sword itself feels good and is shorter than typical katana. I didnt mean to get a shorter one but a full length for practice. But since I was missing a wakizashi for my Sumarai look, I will keep it around.
