🧟♂️ Gear Up for Survival in the Dark Side!
The CMON Zombicide Invader Dark Side Expansion is a standalone cooperative strategy game designed for 1-6 players aged 14 and up. It features a 10-mission campaign where players assume the roles of Green Squad operatives, facing new challenges from the Driller Xenos while utilizing an expanded arsenal of advanced equipment. With a playtime of approximately 1 hour, this expansion can be enjoyed on its own or combined with other Zombicide: Invader sets for epic gameplay.

Another winner from Guillotine and CMON
Any form of entertainment rarely gets better with every iteration, but in my experience, Zombicide challenges that observation. I've played first and second editions and virtually every permutation of the game since the original. So, yes, I am biased toward the game anyway, but I am biased because they've earned that loyalty. With each iteration, not only the game but also the mechanics improve. The manuals get better. And the miniatures improve significantly with each new edition and expansion. This game beats video games every day of the week, and I am an avid video game player. The only suggestion I have is for the customer to paint your miniatures! Bare, unpainted miniatures are boring to look at despite their quality (which is very good) and deserve to be "put down hard."Game on!

Great Core Game / Expansion
This is an excellent addition to the Zombicide sci-fi world. It stands alone as a core game but you can also use it as an expansion to enhance and add variability to the Zombicide Invader core game, which is why I bought it.The Driller Xenos add new mechanics and definitely feel like a slightly different species than the one you fight in Invader, using pits in the ground to enhance their defense. I even added an in-house rule that allows them to move from one pit to another which really gives them a unique feel and ups the difficulty.

Great co-op dice chucker!
CMON kills it again! Great highly detailed miniatures, easy to learn rules set, and a high quality presentation are all here. Fun as a standalone game and gives so many cool options and mechanics that can also add some spice if you own the original Zombicide:Invader. The darkness mechanic adds a sense of dread and the Xenos/Zombies moving through a series of underground tunnels is a unique twist. My family and gaming group love these co-op, all for one, adventures in the dark of space.

Lots of Fun (After Lengthy Setup)
I spent 2 hours reading the rulebook before spending 1 hour setting up the game, to spend 3 hours on the "tutorial" with two friends. This game will consume your time, especially the first time around, but it's worth it. It seems to interface with the Invader game, and the Black Ops expansion as well, though it doesn't go into much detail on how they work together exactly. It leaves a lot of rules about that in the air. But this on its own is plenty of content for quite a while so I'm happy with it.Not sure why but I expected the miniatures to be colored; none of them are, they're all one solid color. That's fine, just a bit hard to tell who is who on the character end, which is why they have the colored rings to attach on the bases. Overall the quality is nice, I just maybe expected something a bit better for a (normally) $100~ board game, though I can't complain since I picked it up at about half that price.I wouldn't consider myself an avid board gamer or anything like that, and this is probably the closest I'll get to anything as complicated as D&D, but it's definitely unique, interesting and fun to play.

Fun Standalone
An interesting take on the Zombicide Space series. I first started off with Invader but this has been a favorite of mine because of the added challenge of the dark zones and holes.Models are great, although I did have one of the main characters with an arm that wasn't fully attached, but I just reattached it.

Zombicide
It is a stand alone game, but when added to Invader it really shines. The box comes full of aliens and a good number of characters to choose from. Recommended if your want to expand your Invader experience or jump into Zombicide in space.
