Fantastic and versatile (15ft with carabiner)
Awesome Product and very fair price for what I received!!Jumping right in:I was highly debating adding the carabiner, but it is VERY handy and you don't have to use it if you want to loop the rope thru the hole for hanging. I found it much easier to use my 3/8ths Screw Eye Hooks (rated 250lb, 114kg) into the ceiling of my garage which holds my 180 lb (81kg) weight including dynamic loading, jumping on it, swinging... it's VERY SOLID. The rope hasn't shed much if any. I'm using it for mostly arm over arm climbing but I worked fine when using my Feet.Out of the box, there is some smell but goes away after a day. The rope is quite stiff and you hear creaking sounds, but I've only gone 15-20 rounds with it so I think that will eventually stop. I expect some stretch but that's natural in my experience climbing ropes at gyms. This does seem to be professional GYM quality. Creaking and stretch doesn't seem to be hurting anything or indicate lessened lifespan.Width is great for my hands and my kids (5 and 7), you can tie knots in the rope to change the difficulty of the workout and they are able to be un-knotted as long as you don't really jump on them to secure them, like I did when testing. Then they take much more effort to untie.I wanted a rope to add to my ninja obstacles in my garage with 12+ feet ceilings and this is PERFECT. With the Carabiner attachment it would be very quick to clip off and then transport and use for all sorts of things (battle ropes if you had 2 of them is something I plan to try!). To buy 2 ropes for $40 each would still be cheaper than buying "battle ropes" here AND you have climbing ropes too so it's like having 2 products for the price of 1 and you aren't storing 4 large items when 2 will suffice.Thank you Perantlb! great stuff

Good climbing rope
I am a 35 year old mom and am determined to learn how to climb a rope, hence this awesome Christmas present from my hubby! We went for this rope because of the apparent ease of hooking it up and being able to take it down to use different places (theoretically for other workout drills). The only challenge about this is that we attached it to a high rafter in our garage so that we could practice climbing. Therefore, it is too high for me to easily take down. Obviously this is a personal issue, not a problem with the rope itself. We appreciated the price point because at the time it was substantially cheaper ($45 for 20 ft) compared to similar options. My husband, 7 and 6 year old boys and I have all used this rope and have not had excessive problems with our hands getting torn up, although I'm sure this is a reflection of how much you use it! The rope seems very sturdy. It looks like it could shed a lot, but so far we have had less shedding than I anticipated. My only qualms with this rope are that I hoped it would be easier to hang up. This is more of a reflection of our own personal home set-up, not the rope itself. Mainly due to the fact that we don't have a sturdy enough hook to easily hang it from and that we want it higher than I can easily reach without a ladder. If you are a ninja warrior family in training, this rope would be a great addition to your home gym.....or if you have young boys who need to use up energy by climbing a rope in your garage during these cold winter months!

Worth the price!
Many years later, withstanding all the elements, it's still hanging and in use! I'd recommend this item.

Nice climbing rope
Climbing rope seems like it’s good quality, time will tell how it fares the elements. Claims to be indoor or outdoor suitable.

SNAPPED on me Outside, Read all fine print, not the misleading title
The title is misleading and leads people to think that this rope is generally safe "for the outdoors". I believe that I am not alone in that most people do not read every single line in the expanded description of items on Amazon that at the very bottom "recommends" to take this indoors after use. Do not make my mistake. This rope snapped on me (after about 2 years hung on a tree after purchasing) while holding on just two feet above the ground. I thank god that it had not broken on me during the previous week, while I climbed to the top at around 25 feet, not knowing it was rotten at the very top! I could have been permanently and severely injured. Upon inspection of the broken rope, it had become black and rotten under the top knot and black cover (where one can not normally see unless totally removed from the 25 foot tree branch) since it was used "Outdoors" as the title implies.Had I known that leaving the rope tied around the tree would eventually turn rotten and become hazardous after rain and weather, I would not have bought this at all. I do not live in a "damp area", as we get normal varying weather. Also, it is not practical for someone to tie and untie a 25 foot rope around a tree or something for every use. While I greatly enjoyed climbing on this rope before it snapped, I wished that I would had better understood this indoor limitation that should be emphasized by the seller much better. Perhaps, at least, I recommend switching the title from Outdoors to Indoors! Furthermore, labeling this as outdoor in the title is dangerous and unless people read all the fine print at the bottom, I feel will lead more people to think it can be used around a tree limb and left up for climbing practice that can lead to life threatening injuries.
