This backpack is so cute - my daughter was very excited about the unicorns. Unfortunately, the materials used are cheap and flimsy and began instantly falling apart. After the first use, the inner lining started to tear and shred. After just a few days the backpack began to rip apart along the seam at the top where the hanging loop is. My daughter is in 1st grade, so she carries very little in her backpack everyday. This cheap material and construction cannot withstand even a small amount of weight.It is too close to the end of the school year to buy another backpack, so I am going to try and tape this one up with some cute duct tape and pray that it holds up for the next couple of months.I will not be buying this brand ever again - total waste of money and big disappointment for my daughter.

Anticipating the return to school on August 3rd, I ordered the Unicorn backpack. My grand-daughter gushed over how pretty it was, and it being her favorite color.School, physically, didn't begin until August 31st, and off she went with her new backpack. She came home that day and one side of the zipper had opened. I've seen this happen many times with a nylon zipper, and knew what to do. On Wednesday, Sept 2 she came home with the zipper foot on the side that had split completely off. Additionally, one of the mesh side pockets had a hole in it. By Friday, Sept 4th, the zipper was done. It was not closing at all. The second mesh pocket had also torn all the way across the bottom.I contacted the seller...hoping they might replace it. I've not heard anything to date. I seriously doubt that I will. I wanted them to know that the backpack is less than expected.I paid nearly the same amount as I did last year for a backpack, which I am happy to say we still have and it's in perfect shape, luckily. Of course, she is not happy (what girl is when they want something?) with having to use "last years" backpack.

This bag is cute. However, the quality is very poor. My daughter has had this bag less than 2 months and it is falling apart. The straps are ripping in two places causing a large hole in the side of the bag. The vinyl liner is also cracking and peeling off causing the bottom of the bag to be very weak. My daughter only goes to and from daycare with this bag and the only thing she carries is her blanket and a change of clothes. Nothing that would cause major strain on the integrity of the bag.

Size is great same as space kiddo says the straps are a little less comfortable then previous back pack. But she loves the unicorns. The threading has been coming apart but doesn't seem to affect to much.

The quality of this bad is absolutely horrible. I bought it for my 1st grader to use for school. The only thing she has to carry is a folder and a book baggy for 3 tiny books. This bag was delivered on 8/31 and as of 9/16 the bag is already falling apart. No exaggeration, the inside of the book bag is literally falling apart. The seams are becoming undone and from the looks of it the bag is falling apart from the inside out.This book bag is the epitome of you get what you pay for. Don't purchase, save yourself the hassle of having to buy another bag two weeks later
