One reviewer said the end of the rail that protrudes is dangerous for children walking into it. Anyone else find this an issue / safety concern?

No concern. The ends are not sharp. Children are well above the end walking up the steps to get out of the pool and the rail is close to the pool edge.

What do you use and how to use a product to get blemishes off the marine grade finish handrail? Also shows some very small rust spots, only 10 months

I, too, had the problem of rust after just 6 months, but it cleaned right up with "Bartenders Friend" (an amazing product).

My rail has rusted how do I clean it

I have had mine installed for about 10 months now and I have the marine grade and it is showing a few small some rust pits as well. It also has some blemishes in the finish on 2 or 3 spots that won't wipe off . Hoping this lasts as it's a beautiful handrail and upgrade! Disappointed in the finish, my old cheap 27 yr old handrail did not have any rust spots or blemishes on it, not sure why this one is doing that.
