Shipped on time and as ordered.
Seams well made, came new and undamaged. I used it too cut drywall and I have no complaints . Black marking on yellow background is easy to see. And I thought it was a good price.

Good etching, great paint.
I keep this tool in the back of my pickup, underneath a rubber mat bed liner, and use it two or three times a week. Very Heavy Things are bouncing on top of it all the time. Sliding it in and out of there has worn the paint off of cheaper T-squares in less than 6 months. I waited over a year to write my review. Here Goes...It's almost like the day I got it. Not bent or wobbly in the slightest. I was concerned at first that the numbers would wear off because they are not etched (just the lines are etched). Whatever this paint is, it seems to be immune to the very heavy wear I put on it. The numbers still look as good as new. I have seen deeper etching on other squares, but this is deep enough and the lines are thinner, allowing greater accuracy of cut.If I'm hauling something very heavy like a refrigerator, I don't bother pulling the square out first, I'm not worried about it getting bent. The only thing I don't like is the metal is so thick that a bucket doesn't sit flat if you set it on top. I've had a couple buckets rolling around in the back of my truck.

Not cheap like at the box stores. It’s thick and does not bend easily. Great construction

A worthwhile tool.
If you regularly cut sheet stock (plywood, OSB, sheetrock, etc.) these are really handy tools that will save you lots of time and effort. I've only used Swanson so I can’t compare it to other brands, but it works well and is actually square, even after several drops and bumps. My only criticism is that the scale marks are on top of ¼” thick aluminum (the 48” leg) which makes it difficult to get really accurate marks on your work. It would be nice if the marks were also on the sides. I’m in the habit of laying out my work with a good tape measure and then using the square as a guide to scribe a line or guide a knife on sheetrock so this is a minor complaint for me.

Perfect for suqring quilts
I just love this. Just heavy enough to be useful but not so heavy that it's hard to maneuver. I love the bright yellow color and easy to read markings. I can easily mark and cut a quilt top without having to move my smaller rulers around. Terrific!

Heavy Duty!!!!
Anyone can make a drywall square. I've owned many and used many more. I definitely like this design as opposed to a non adjustable one. This is the thickest one I've ever used very sturdy and heavy, for a drywall square. This is definitely one you can throw in the back of your truck and not have to worry about it bending..(.you still have to worry about it getting stolen)

Good value, good product!
Some reviews have mentioned that this isn't perfectly square, but I took the risk because of the reasonable price. Gotta say mine seems pretty perfectly square. The only thing I would gripe about is that the measuring lines don't extend to the edge of the ruler, so it can be tough if you need to make precise measurements. I've made due in those situations, though, and overall I'm happy with this product!
