SCIROKKO Cat Harness and Leash Set - Escape Proof Adjustable for Outdoor Walking with Safety Buckle

Our cat wore this harness for 2 weeks straight as we traveled cross country in our truckcamper. We wanted something lightweight that wouldn't restrict movement but also easy to grab if we needed to capture an escaping cat.Happy to report the cat survived the trip and is safe at home. We had to expand the harness during the trip as the young cat grew but otherwise the harness served it purpose. Cat had full movement and didn't seem bothered by the harness. The cat was unable to slip out of the harness.

Best cat harness I have found! My cats cannot wiggle, jump or chew their way out of this harness, so they are actually safe in it. This will be the perfect harness to take them outside for walks when it finally cools down...its been hot enough to fry eggs on the sidewalks here for weeks now. I started the search for a safe cat harness to take my kittens for walks. What I found was small dog harnesses...which do not work for cats at all. I've probably bought 9 or 10 that my cats have gotten out of one way or another. Completely not safe! Im.so happy I found this one!

Was a bit unsure at first, but the harness was easy to adjust, and fit really well. She got startled a bit, but the harness was sturdy enough to keep her from pulling to much.

Before, I tried vest type harnesses for my cat which had design flaws. The buckles on these styles are often placed in uncomfortable areas that restricted the pets movement like directly under the armpit area and so get in the way, or sit on top of shoulder blades or something. I also considered the 8 style, or infinity "x" style harness but quickly realized that these are pretty much unbreakable sliding nooses that youre putting on your pet. Theyre a strangle hazard in the worst case scenario.This one is is better bc it doesnt seem ro hinder your pets movement much, but i adjust the neck collar part to be loose enough so that my cat could wriggle their head out of it if stuck in absolute worst case scenarios, like if im not around. Like if they ran away or got lost with this unbreakable harness on them and got caught in something, and etc. I never have this on my cat indoors or unattended but still, better to think ahead.So far this its more escape proof than other designs as long as the chest part is secure. But i recommend keeping the neck part loose. It wouldnt affect the efficacy of this harness.

We want to take our cat outside. I got a vest harness with Velcro- she almost killed herself because it wasn’t right enough but it’s hard to get right when your cat has her belly on the floor because she doesn’t want to wear it. We got another strap harness but the middle section is so short that it looked like she can’t take her head down and is strangulating herself.This one is soft and flexible and the middle section long enough that she can even eat or stretch her head out. We just put it on once but it looks promising. She wasn’t sure but she didn’t mind as much either. Our cat has a strong chest, but tiny head with tiny neck. She is 9 lbs. I am confident we can work with this. Of course I cannot at much about how escape proof it is but I am very hopeful.

Our female cat was born and bred at a Shelter. She was 8 months old when adopted and is now 1.5 yrs old and has been housebound. We live in the MTS. and felt because she lives with an indoor-outdoor cat we wanted her to experience the outdoors but only on a tether and walking with us. We tried a small dog harness. WRONG! This Harness is fantastic! It allows her to experience the outdoors on our deck (with a tether) and she has adapted very well to walking on a leash. It's light enough and after 2 months, she is now excited when I pick up the harness. "Strapping her in" has become very easy. Great Product! THANK YOU!

This is a really nice, conformable, harness that works well and isn't irritating for my cat. It's made from fabric and feels sturdy. It could also work for a small dog. Sunflower pattern is very cute! I recommend using this style over one's with a chest strap. Your cat will thank you.

When he got scared by a few passing golf carts, we got to test (and prove) the escape-proof claim. It seems comfortable, although I worry that it might still restrict him neck if I pull on the leash so I’ll likely swap it out for a bungee cord one (although he loves to play with this one as we walk around). The harness is easy to put on and adjust, and seems sturdy.
