HobbyKing USB Simulator Cable XTR/AeroFly/FMS

This was for flying a simulator with an 9x. I could not get windows to recognize it initially but then for unknown reasons sometime later it worked (maybe restart). Minus 1 star for no instructions and mysteriously not working at first.

Product works but was a headache to setup with my 9X. Turns out you either have to modify the RF module or unplug it to make it work as a game controller. My computer sees it fine as a USB device but the simulator was unresponsive. Spent a lot of time looking for drivers (there are non and everything is on the dongle) when all I had to do was bypass the antenna. But after all the frustration, it does work great.EDITAnd it works with a FrSky DJT module in the 9X. The DJT doesn't even need to be unplugged to work, just don't turn on the 9X's power switch.

It works perfectly under windows 10 and with an old Futaba T6XAs. Nothing to install under windows, it recognizes it and installs the drivers. I had to fight a few hours with it though, until I finally try changin the modulation of the transmitter to PPM (analog). The dongle don't like PCM (digital) and the joystick game controller under windows was getting crazy and imposible to calibrate.

I have a Spektrum DX6i with Phoenix Simulator 5, and this item does not work. Windows 7 x64 bit sees it, installs it as a game controller but Phoenix SIM 5 does not detect the device."your usb interface is not currently being detected by phoenix"
