I would give 5 stars but mine came without the tissue paper so I had to make a very last minute run to the store to have these ready for my daughter’s birthday party tomorrow. My daughter loves them❤️

ALERT: You will need two AAA batteries for each light so four AAA batteries in total.I had seen fairy lantern DIY projects on Pinterest and YouTube before. I had wanted to do a project with my nieces but never bothered to get all the supplies and always forgot when I went shopping so I really love how everything necessary is included in this kit except for the batteries for the tealights.This kit comes in a plain cardboard box in which it was shipped in. Inside of the box the jars sits wedged in molded foam with a foam sheet sitting on top. The extras are in a ziploc style bag.Included in the box are two jars with lids and handles, two large tealights, twine, pink roses, yellow roses, vine of leaves, translucent ribbon (green, blue, pink, yellow, and purple, craft glue, two sponge applicators, and tissue paper. There is also a sheet with instructions on it.This was a cute project that my nieces loved, especially during the social distancing that is going on. They made it their own by adding some glitter and other special touches. This does not need to be done perfectly and as instructed. You can cut out any shape you want on black construction paper to make a different design inside rather than the fairy. You can cut out some smaller things to add to it.It was a fun project and so convenient to have everything necessary in one kit. We would do these again.

I ordered this as an activity to do with my 5 year old daughter. It was a big hit! She loved helping and doing all of the steps to get our fairy lanterns done. It comes with more than enough decorations (ribbons, rope, bundle of white and pink flowers, leaf vine etc.) We had a lot left over that she's having fun using to decorate other items she has. The instructions were simple and straight forward. The only "hard" part was getting the tissue paper on the jay with it out any wrinkles/creases showing. Our 1st attempt my daughter did it, and it bunched up in a couple of places, the 2nd one I did and I ended up cutting a good strip off of the tissue before placing it on the jar, which made it a little easier to get it on with less wrinkles. It would be amazing if batteries were included, luckily we had some at home to use. Overall they came out so cute and my daughter loved doing it and seeing the finished product. Even the 1st jar that the tissue paper got a little bunched up looks great! Good find/buy!

These are so cute when finished. However, I did coat the inside and the outside of mine with modpodge before assembling, so in case it got broken, it wouldn't shatter.

This was a fun and pretty quick project. My granddaughter and I made these in an afternoon. There were plenty of supplies to complete both lanterns. I would have scored higher if the candle had a timer switch, as it is difficult to open and close the jar after completion. I will need to swap out the candle with some fairy lights with a timer for convenience.

This product is so cute! I ordered this as part of a valentines gift for a 7 year old, she had a great time putting it together. At first the amount of materials was intimidating for her but we kept going doing it together since there are two in the set and kept adding until they looked amazing. The hardest part was the glue and tissue paper, it takes a bit of finesse but even if you make some mistakes it looks great once it's lit up in dim lighting.

Love, Love, Love this craft set!! My granddaughter and I made these and had so much fun. She is 7 and only needed a little help with the glue. I found additional embellishments around the house. We added some heart stickers and 3D butterfly magnets that stick right to the lid. My granddaughter took her's home and gave it to her mom as a gift. It was a huge hit! I love the battery operated candle lights instead of real candles. Makes it safer for kids & they flicker like real candles. The only problem we had was gluing on the tissue paper. It tears very easily. We had to do ours twice, but I found a heavier tissue paper with glitter so we liked it even better. And you can still see the fairy thru the glass when lit.
