I like it....but I wish I could love it. The cake is not flat in the jar. When water is sprayed in, the water sat in the middle and softened the middle. After only one use, a hole developed in the center of the cake, which is hallow below. So, the next use I now have a hole and when I spritz with water to activate the paint, the water just settled in the bottom of this hole, making the cake barely wet to use. It was okay the first use....and the shimmer is nice (it's not like this huge twinkling sparkle, just a light shimmer when looked at, at an angle). I guess I'm just disappointed. This has happened with two of the jars I used from this set. The jar is tiny (1 1/2" diameter about) and with the huge gaps / hallow areas, it isn't a lot of cake, even though it appears that way at first glance. And, this is true (the gaps/holes/hallow areas) for several jars (if you look at the sides of the jar you can see it too). This isn't just a single 'bad jar'....this is just how they are. I bought three packs of different colors. All three have jars doing this. And, I suppose I will get comments telling me I did this wrong. I suppose I could sit there and swirl the spritzed water around during the five recommended minutes to wait to get the paint ready....maybe this would work....but eventually the gaps are there.

I make cards and scrapbooks so I am forever looking for products to use in making these. I came across these and figured I would give them a try. The jars look tiny but there is really a lot in there. I add water and the amount of water determines how intense you want the color/shine. I can go to a very water-colored look to an intense painted look with beautiful shimmering effects. Note that I said shimmer, not sparkle. These don't look like glitter or Stickles (Glitter Glue). They actually have glitter in them whereas this shimmers, you can't see any 'glitter' in it. What you do see is the color but it also it shimmers in the light.

I am in love with the Twinkling H2Os, they have such vivid and bright colors with a lot of pigment and shimmery mica/glitter. The Autumn Brilliant sets colors are more earthy looking. I really love the Mystique color though, it's like a shimmery blue green. It's so pretty.

This set has smaller than the "original" size pots of paint. This is just greatbecause I really did not want to paint everything with this but put accents on work I had done with other medium (i.e. water colors, pens and alcohol inks). I love the glimmer that this product gives and the fact I could so many different colors for such a low cost made it a perfect set up for me.

Hard to photograph the beautiful sparkles, but these paints are delicious to work with.

Beautiful colors. Love the H2O watercolors. These are smaller than the regular size that you get when you purchase one at a time, probably about 1/2 size, but still more than enough to last forever!

These are brilliant colors which change intensity depending on the amount of water added. Make gorgeous accent colors or gleaming mosaics.

This is a fun watercolor paint. I use it for butterflies and anything I want to make sparkly. Mostly I use it on birthday cards. Easy to use and clean up.
