Sherman OE Replacement Dodge Pickup Grille Bracket (Partslink Number CH1207102)

Worked fine on my 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck to replace the rotted out grille support bracket that affixes to the hood. It fit okay, but it was not perfect by any means. You will have to do a little dinking around, but you'll get it to mount up with a little bit of effort. You will also likely need to purchase some new screws/hardware, as they are often rotted and in poor condition. Attaching hardware does NOT come with this bracket for re-attaching the plastic grille to the bracket. I think #8 sheet metal style screws will work, but don't hold me to that size. They might be #10's. To be honest, I've already forgotten! Plastic zip ties work well also for when you crack the cheesy plastic grille mounts when over-tightening the mounting screws to this steel bracket. (Hmmm, guess how I know? - D'oh!)

I installed this on my '97 Dodge about 3 years ago. The bracket came pre-painted, but I primed and painted it again just to be sure it would not rust out anytime soon. It does a decent job of holding the front grill in place. My only con comment is that some of the pre -drilled holes did not line up with the factory grill. Most of them worked out OK. It is holding up well to Ohio winters so far.

Bought this to replace the rusty grill bracket on a 1994 2500 Ram with 500K miles. This bracket was almost perfect. The two end bends were correct, but the middle bracket that attaches to the center of the hood was a bit off. About 10 trips from the garage to the basement vise to whack it and bend it into shape were required, but eventually it was OK. So prepare for a bit of bending if you buy this.

tabs on braket have to be modified for a the grill tabs other then that its a good product just need to move the tabs down about half inch

Fit well! Only issue is No Hardware.. :( my bolts were super rusted and couple turned to dust. But i suppose I can find them at a hardware store.

Loved the figment if the grille brace perfect own spec did not come with mounting hardware but overall a perfect like kind quality
