Good belt but did not fit my 2011 Honda Fit
I tried for over an hour but I could not install this belt. So I just reinstalled the old belt with no trouble. Hmm, I thought, maybe the old belt had just stretched. Then I checked the details and found that the Bando 5PK1140 comes in two sizes. The K050448 means the belt is 45 3/8 inches OC and the K050450 is 45 5/8 inches OC (cross reference those numbers to Gates belts where the measurements are printed on the package). So I'm thinking wow, that may be the problem. Sure enough, I got the K050450 larger belt and, while still a tight fit, installed it start to finish in about 20 minutes. One site did mention that if you have the 1497cc engine then use the K050450. Hope this info saves someone some trouble.

Lesson for the DIY mechanic
The auto shop charges $90+ for a belt and $90 for labour. Here's $16 belt with one of the best ratings on A. What am I missing? Well after jacking up the car (suzuki sx4 2009) and taking off underbody shield, I took off the old one and compared with this one. I could tell they are basically same length. Then came two hours of routing, pushing, pulling of this belt. I was exhausted, scared, and gave up! It looked like it's short by just a few mm.Then it was time to reflex, I read shoppers' rating and watched some youtube video. I can't believe almost 20% buyers on A said it didn't fit ! What a bummer I bought it nearly 2 months ago and didn't try it on till today. After going through some youtube videos I saw some people talking about using a "cheater" bar. That is an illuminating hint for me.Basically the 14mm wrench is too short to put enough torque on the tensioner(unless you are a muscle dude). So either you buy a 14mm long wrench or using the existing wrench inserted into a longer steel pipe. A brilliant variation was using 14mm and 17mm wrenches together: box end(circle)14mm on the tensioner hex bolt, open end of 14mm wrench "wedged" into the box end of 17mm. This way you get a tool twice as long as the 14mm wrench alone(hence 2x torque). Once you twist the tensioner bolt using this trick you get enough slack to push the belt onto the last pulley with ease! Ah, that must be why so many people say it didn't fit !Too bad I don't see a way to upload a picture of the wrenches jointed together here. The belt is running quietly and I will report any problems after a month or two.

Quality belt with accurate description, make sure it’s what you need!
Worked great! Used on a 2008 Honda Fit sport with stock engine and pulleys. This is a 5 rib 45” belt. Cheapest belt available to me at my local auto store was $45, this belt was shipped and delivered in two days for $11. Perfect OEM quality and of course an upgrade from the belt I previously had installed. If you are not sure the exact size of the belt you require I highly recommend figuring that information out first as the vehicle matching algorithms will not always be accurate. For example if you have had any simple engine work done like a power steering pump replaced it can have larger or smaller wheels on the pulleys which would require either a tensioner adjustment, or larger belt. Sometimes the auto shop won’t tell you if you’ve got a larger belt. If you think this is the case for your vehicle count the number of grooves on a grooved pulley wheel to find your rib count, and route a string through the pulley system to imitate a belt, once you have the string tightly routed through the system hold you the place where the string connects and measure the length, subtract 1/2-3/4 inch for tensioner slack and you get your belt size

correct power steering/alternator belt for 2007 Subaru Outback
This belt was correct for the power steering pump and alternator position for my 2007 Subaru Outback wagon with 2.5L SOHC engine. The size, width and groove pattern matched those on the belt it replaced, it went on easily, and it has been doing its job for several months and several thousand miles. Though I can't tell whether one brand belt is any better than another, I have used Bando brand belts before without any trouble. They are made in the US, and Amazon pricing is hard to beat. You just have to do the research to make sure that the part number is right for the application.

DID NOT FIT!!!
According to the spec sheet, this is supposed to fit the alternator for a 2003 Forester. Even with me dropped the alternator as far down as possible, it would not fit. I tried various ways, starting with different pulleys but nothing worked. I will return this one and order a one from a different manufacturer.

Perfect OE replacement.Quiet, smooth, and durable.I love the bandon brand an I will continue to buy this for any belts I need. Nothing fancy and the cost reflects that. Just a good quality standard replacement part.

Fit my 2010 Suburu Forester
Bought this to replace the alternator/power steering belt for my new (to me) 2010 Suburu Forester. The existing belt was in the worst condition I'd ever seen- it was Mitsubishi made and after trying to have the dealer work with me on replacing it I decided to just do it myself. The belt fit perfectly. There was a little bit of initial squeakiness, but that has disappeared.Note to any armchair mechanics wondering if you can do it yourself: replacing this belt is fairly easy. You need a socket wrench with a 12mm and 10mm bit, beer, and something to whack the alternator with if it won't move for you (I used the end of a garden trowel- not necessarily recommended by real mechanics). Just find a You Tube video and save yourself at least $50 and an hour of your time by having it done professionally. Thanks!

Works great so far
The media could not be loaded. Bought for 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX.Fit a bit tighter than the old one but with the adjustment bolts and a bit of effort to slip the belt on it works perfectly so far. Fixed my slipping belt on the power steering.

Great Replacement Belt.
Belt on my 2010 Forester was squeaking. Already tried retightening but that didn't work. This went on easily. However I did have to retension it after initial run as it started to squeal. After doing that it is great!
